Celestia by Sea Cloud in Unawatuna

Unfortunately the location is literally next to the train tracks which means a loud train passes by throughout the day. Also, the hotel was not great with communication. I informed the hotel we would be arriving after 5pm, yet when we arrived there was nobody at the front desk to greet us or help us. We did however, notice many mosquitoes everywhere inside the hotel. There was no room service and after a few days of going and coming from the beach, the floors can get sandy. We asked for someone to please come and at least sweep and take our trash. They said someone would come, but when we arrived close to 7pm our room had not been cleaned. On top of that, the shower stopped working as soon as it was turned on. So I had to wait half wet and tired until they fixed it.
That being said, the staff was very friendly, and management did try to help, although they forgot to tell their staff to clean our room.
The best part was probably being able to see monkey right outside our window and easy walk to the beach where you can enjoy the turtles.
