A great place to relax and chill by the pool. Gayan the owner was super helpful during our stay. The location was super accessible to all the major hangout spots in the area. Good and inexpensive place to spend a day on the beach, low prices for food, large portions, definitely enough fried rice for two. Delicious non-alcoholic drinks, very cozy area, in the shade all day, there are sun loungers of varying comfort. The service is unobtrusive and friendly.

I Had a lovely stay here. I took advantage of a promotion they were having and got a complimentary double room for having all 3 of my meals at Toddy by Hoppa. My room was beautiful, as you can see the view was heavenly, meals were fresh and delicious and the staff was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate me. I highly recommend Toddy by Hoppa.

I spent there 3 days, and I do not regret at all my decision. The room was beautiful, wonderful, and the spectacular views! Luv it!! A dream! the service are very kind and friendly. I am staying at this hotel with my family. It is located in the middle of a steep mountain, which is quite difficult to climb. Because of this, the only way to get from Unawatuna Beach is by transport. Walking to Unawatuna Beach is not realistic, since there are no sidewalks, like everywhere in Southeast Asia.
