Perfect place for a romantic evening.
We visited Mount Rich Rumassala for a special candle-light dinner as a couple, and it was a truly memorable experience. The rooftop view at night created a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a romantic evening. The staff arranged the table nicely with candles and gave us good privacy.
The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The calm surroundings and cool breeze made the night even more special for us. It’s a wonderful place for couples who want to spend quality time together in a quiet and scenic location.

"Had a solid stay here! For a 3-star hotel, the rooms were surprisingly clean and the bed was very comfortable—perfect for getting a good night's rest.
The highlight was definitely the food. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, which isn't always a guarantee at this price point. Friendly service and great value for the money. Would definitely stay again!"

I visited Rumassala Jungle Beach with my family, and this As the journey to the beach was difficult for my aged mother, I decided to rent a room and leave her for a short time until we returned.Mount Roch Rumassala truly touched my heart.
The surroundings were calm, peaceful, and comforting. The room was very clean, well maintained, and pleasant. What meant the most to me was the kindness of the front office staff. They took genuine initiative to look after my mother and made sure she was comfortable and at ease during our absence.
Every staff member helped us with warm smiles and sincere care, which gave me great peace of mind. I am truly grateful for their compassion and excellent service.truely Sri Lankan

This hotel is absolutely beautiful with a lovely atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The food was delicious and served fresh. It’s a perfect place for parties and weddings with great arrangements and a wonderful setting. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, a clean, peaceful, and amazing place that I would highly recommend.

We stayed here for our honeymoon right after getting married on the 1st of December, and the experience was truly wonderful. The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful surroundings, perfect for couples.
A special thanks to Mr. Hiran, the manager, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The steward boy was also very nice and attentive, and the lady staff member was friendly and welcoming. Overall, the entire staff treated us with great care and made us feel comfortable.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

We had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. Rooms and the bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Really nice atmosphere at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and they have many varieties of fresh food available. This is located on the way to jungle beach and really close to highway entrance. Amazing and good quality service. 100% recommended.

I am staying at this hotel with my family. It is located in the middle of a steep mountain, which is quite difficult to climb. Because of this, the only way to get from Unawatuna Beach is by transport. Walking to Unawatuna Beach is not realistic, since there are no sidewalks, like everywhere in Southeast Asia. The rooms are good. Cleaning is upon request, but extremely sloppy. They forget to give you water, you have to constantly remind them. Shampoo and gel are not given out at all, this is not even in the list of services. Continental breakfast, like everywhere else. Nourishing and monotonous. Only papaya juice. There are only 8 rooms in the hotel. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor, and on the 3rd there is a restaurant, which hosts parties several times a week. The music is so loud that it is impossible to be in the room, much less sleep. Even earplugs do not help. Apparently, due to lack of funds (there are only 8 rooms), the hotel is forced to make money in any way possible. The last party lasted until 23:30. Reminders that my family had rented rooms in a family hotel, not a night club, did not help. It ended only after a warning about calling the tourist police. In the morning, the manager dryly apologized and patted me on the shoulder. Under the windows of the rooms on the right side there is a road along which schoolchildren are transported in the mornings. Climbing up the narrow road, buses honk like crazy. There is no swimming pool in the hotel. The adjacent territory is very small. The level of this hotel, in my subjective opinion, corresponds to a 3 * Egyptian hotel. Hospitality, cleanliness and very quiet, everything you need for relaxation. The attitude of the staff and especially the hotel manager impressed me and I believe they will continue like this. Their love for their place is, from what I understand, the driving force for the good result

We had our annual batch gathering was held here recently. It was an excellent place for such event. Excellent service with a dedicated staff, eexcellent view as well. The food was good as well .
