I’ve visited the hotel for a wedding function. The hall is good and spacious. Food and drinks are in average range.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be an average experience overall. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. Perfectly located in a cool hip side street with plenty of shops and cafes leading straight to Unawatuna beach. This place was excellent for NYE as we were close to the beach but far enough not to hear the music when we called it quits! Room was well furnished, nicely decorated and the garden/common area was very well kept. Staying here contributed to Unawatuna being my favourite place yet in Sri Lanka

The common areas are lovely and it's great sitting out and just chilling for a while. The rooms are relatively clean, but we found a spider which wasn't good. Cleaning staff killed and took it away. Rooms are fabulous and the place is perfectly maintained. Excellent food, too. There's a beach, but sea too choppy to swim, and behind, a main road. Short rides to Unawatanu or to Thalpe itself if you aren't happy to just relax in a great place.

This one has incredible view, nice manager, who does things seriously well. Be aware, do not left balcony doors opened at evening night with lights on inside: room will be infested with bugs. Excellent hotel in the South Coast of Sri Lanka just twenty minutes from the world heritage Galle Fort. This was a great experience: The combination of Yoga and Aruyveda was perfect! Asiri is such a great Shivanada Yoga Master. The retreat is perfectly place at the ocean. A wonderful place for recreation and relaxation! The Ayurveda food was yummie-hhmmm!

We had an amazing experience here! The yoga teacher was incredibly skilled – truly one of the best we’ve ever had on all our trips to Sri Lanka. Amazing start to our trip in Sri Lanka. The resort is beautifully kept, the rooms are huge and we loved every minute of it here. It is a bit of the centre, so you need to take tuk tuks to get to local restaurants. But we did not mind this. The staff were so friendly, and the breakfast is enormous!! Cannot recommend this more.

I stayed at Villa White Queen Resort and Spa recently. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The resort itself is beautiful, and restaurant are nice. However, the bed in my room was not very comfortable, which affected my overall sleep quality. Overall, it was an okay stay great service, but the room comfort needs improvement.

We had a fabulous stay here. The room was beautiful (updated from the pictures here on Trip Advisor) great air conditioning, beautifully clean with a really good shower. The staff are lovely- nothing is too much trouble, they make you feel like you’re in a 5 star resort. Just across the road from the beach - we would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful, thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at The Waves. Our room was only a few steps from the beach, and the restaurant was placed right on the beach. The staff was very helpful through our stay. The location itself is a reason to recommend staying at The Waves. Overall a great hotel.:)

Great experience staying at Villa Upper Dickson, nothing was too much trouble for the management, making our time in Galle as good as it could be. Rooms are lovely, location is great, close to places of interest but peaceful and secluded. Breakfast was the best meal of the day and eating out locally was both cheap and delicious. I highly recommend Villa Dickson.

This hotel is located in quiet area apart away several minutes walk from Main Street. Except this, service, hospitality, room, cleanliness are perfect. Although this hotel is a bit old because of renovation of someone’s house, it doesn’t matter for me. I never hesitate to stay at this hotel again when I come back. Breakfast is good enough too.
