Clean hotel with a friendly staff. Easy access to beach, actually the beach is foots away from the hotel. You can jump in to beach from the edge of the hotel. Staff was very supportive to find us the safest place to take a bath with kid. You can have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel for a very reasonable price while facing the ocean. This is my second time in this place and it was pleasureful as always. Very safe and clean place, nice staff and a nice breakfast. View is magnificent as always. I recommend you should visit this place if you need a place to crash by a nice beach.

Amazing location right on the beach. There are some areas in the sea that are safe for swimming and turtles on the beach right infront of the resort. They serve authentic southern Sri Lankan cuisine. The staff was friendly and service was very pleasant.

After a morning at turtle beach we walked up the beach and found Shanthi Beach Resort, the perfect spot for some lunch. We sat overlooking the ocean and ate omelette and prawn fried rice. A nice beach resort. Old resort which should be at least 40 years old. The rooms are neat. Particularly the one close to the beach. The facilities of some of the rooms may be slightly increased as it appears very old. The food is very good and we can have the food in the beachfront. Nice beach view. The hotel manager was very friendly and kind. The staff were friendly also. The location of the hotel was perfect, it had a great view and was with great swimming opportunities. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food was normal and there was a lot to choose from.

A beautiful spot right in town and near the fort. A lovely Gallein home with dark wood interior and beautifully furnished. Your host will make you feel at home, and the morning breakfast was absolutely incredible, and generous. Mosquito net around bed was a lifesaver, and you have your own little deck upstairs, outdoors. We have been there on march 2017. It was a great reat accommodation with delicious breakfast. We could not swim in the sea across the street but you have very near a bus station to ride to galle (10 minutes) or other beautiful beaches in the area...

This hotel is a very quiet and secluded place, offering a magical garden that truly enhances the experience. The service is excellent, and the host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is definitely worth the price you pay. We stayed there in December. The staff are great, they look very young but there if you need anything. The hotel also has a great free tuk tuk service to Galle Fort, which is where the main area is, restaurants, Fort, cricket ground. It also had a nice pool.

Really a good place if you are ready to spend little more money than for most of similar places in the area. Reasonable price though. Nice clean rooms. Major plus point is the location, right in the middle of the city. You won't find such place for that amount easily.

Of course, the hotel staff is very friendly. It's nice that everything is relatively new. BUT!!!! The roosters have been crowing since 3 a.m. And if you're looking for a good night's sleep, this is definitely not the place for you! The road to the beach is across a highway with motorbikes and minibuses racing just 10 cm away, and that's very DANGEROUS!! Consider whether it's worth saving for your safety...

A budget hotel close to the center of Galle Bus stand. The rooms were small yet clean and had all the amenities including hot water.Keep in mind that rooms are not sound proof and the curtains were barely hanging on to the windows. If you need a cheap place for a night in Galle it is ok !

This room definitely had value for money. We got it for a reasonable price and it was quite spacious and cosy enough. The owner was also very sweet and helpful ensured we had everything we needed. It is a nice place with an affordable price. Next to Galle - Matara road. Almost every room in there are with beautiful sea views. Owner was a very friendly and a helpful person. But the only negative thing I could see was the cleanliness of rooms were not in a satisfactory condition.
