I strongly advise against this property. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation, look elsewhere. The only plus is its location on the main road, but everything else was a total disaster. The low point of our stay was New Year's Eve: we were robbed of cash right in our room. The thieves broke in through the windows, demonstrating a total lack of security. Beyond the financial loss, what left a bitter taste in our mouths was the staff's complete lack of cooperation in trying to understand what had happened. I should add that the following morning, when called to explain what had just happened, the "owner" showed up laughing and with the attitude of someone who doesn't care in the slightest about what happens in his property (terrible indeed). We demanded a room change out of pure fear (after what happened the previous evening, that was the least we could do). The owner himself admitted that it was "unsafe" to stay in that part of the hotel. But the nightmare didn't end there: the next night, at 5 a.m., we were awakened by someone insistently banging on the door of our new room, looking for someone other than us. The services don't even begin to justify the high prices: extremely basic and poorly maintained rooms, intermittent hot water (unacceptable), poor-quality breakfast, absolutely not worth it, neglected and dirty beach. In short: you pay dearly for not sleeping soundly and receiving mediocre service. An experience to forget, one I wouldn't wish on anyone. Stay away. I'm writing in Italian because you'll have to translate it to understand what I've written, and to all my fellow Italians, AVOID!!!!!!

Dear tourists. Never go to this bug-infested place. All the praised reviews are written by Russian-speaking surfers who hang out there as instructors and are in the pay of the hotel. In fact, this is not a nice family hotel on the first line in a quiet corner. But a large hotel built with additions and additions to a friend from **** and sticks. Where you will have blue translucent aluminum double-glazed windows instead of entrance doors. Everything around the hotel is falling off and falling apart somewhere unfinished. And not because this nice owner just doesn't have the means, but because this owner really doesn't care about people, he is only interested in your money. We encountered his complete inhumanity, and especially his administrator, a very unpleasant woman. Next to the hotel there is not a nice restaurant, but a huge noisy cheap establishment with a bunch of drunk people.

Terrible hotel, the worst hotel of my trip to Sri Lanka. The manager should be a fisherman, without taking anything away from the fishermen, who don't need to know how to communicate with tourists. Otherwise, the rooms are moldy, trees creeping into the rooms, etc. It's better to sleep on the beach.
