Grand 103 in Kandy

Super friendly staff that were vey helpful to our requests. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt welcome.

Couple of points of feedback: the swimming pool was nice but the glass surrounding the pool really could use a cleaning and the pool’s stairs and surrounding need a repair. It seemed like it hadn’t really been taken care of all that well over the years. The pool itself was clean though! So that’s most important. The same feeling I kind of got from the restaurant. It seemed like it needed a proper cleaning. Some dishes weren’t completely clean either. The windows were dirty. The coffee pot was constantly boiling (too hot ;)) so I skipped it.

It didn’t have a huge impact on our stay though. It was fine overall. Thanks !

The room was very clean and hygienic and the staff was friendly also the food was delicious especially the breakfast which had fair number of options and different style cuisines. Overall it was a good feeling staying there!

Extremely happy with this hotel. The rooms are a good size, really comfortable and clean, and well equipped. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with the hoppers the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far. Pool area is also really nice, with a great view. The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk to the lake/ main town area.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and loved everything about our stay. The staff is wonderful, always smiling and the service is top notch. Rooms are updated, big and very clean. Had a couple of dinners at their restaurant and the food was wonderful. The rooftop pool is beautiful with wonderful views of Kandy. It's a short walk down to Kandy lake and the area is very safe. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We recently had the pleasure of staying one night at Serene kandy and it was a truly outstanding experience.
​The property itself is really great, but the highlight has to be the beautiful rooftop infinity pool with a bar. The views from up there are simply stunning, and it's the perfect place to relax. The views from our room were also fantastic.
​What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. Everyone was humble and incredibly attentive. A special thank you to Mr. Chowinder and Ms. Sashikala for their exceptional care and hospitality—they made us feel so welcome.
​The food was great as well. We were delighted that Chef Tushar ended our day with a beautiful, specially curated Indian meal just for us. It was the perfect finish to our visit!
​Overall, this is a must-stay and relax place. Definitely worth trying!
​Tip: Be sure to catch a sunset from the rooftop pool! - A Must-Visit!
