We had an amazing high tea at Hunas Falls with the family. The scenery was breathtaking, overlooking the mountains and the waterfall. It's not easy to get to the hotel - the last few kms are especially hairy but it's got amazing views. We spent two nights there and just walked around the property and enjoyed it. The food was decent but they got pretty muddled up with our group of 10 so food arrived in drubs and drabs and was often cold. The staff are very nice and helpful though and really try to make you happy.

The hotel was clean and staff was helpful. There is a rooftop resturant and pool we enjoyed. There is a refillable water area. The location was close and walkable to surrounding sites and restaurants.

Hotel runs on a conscious budget as they do not supply basic amentities to guest. There are no tooth brushes, bedroom slippers, floor mats and bottled water. I noticed hotels in Sri Lanka do not stock the room with these items unless Guest ask for it. This is lacking in good hospitality. My room TV was not working. Location is okay and near to the city centre.

The location is excellent. It's a 5-7 minute drive/tuk-tuk ride to the Buddha statue and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. The room isn't large, but the beds are great and the towels are soft. The pool and restaurant are on the 7th floor. The food isn't bad – they serve tasty meals. There's parking available for a couple of cars.

The noticeable hair on the bathroom floor was a big turn-off. The hotel's location is indeed good, but the view wasn't particularly great; our low floor was obstructed by tree branches. The furniture in the room is quite old-fashioned. Breakfast had limited variety, and the dinner buffet, which was an extra charge, was three times the price of our previous hotel but only half as good in terms of taste...

I'm sure this was due to the effects of the hurricane that occurred a while ago, but the wifi and TV were not working, which was very inconvenient. I chose a hotel with wifi, so this was very disappointing. There was no discount to compensate for the inconvenience, and no services such as free breakfast were offered. I think they should have notified us in advance and allowed us to cancel.

The amenities was quite old, but I chose the location for the view and it did not disappoint. The room and pool view was magnificent and you can watch the sunrise. Only downside is that sunsets early and it was quite a ride to go back to the hotel

Booked the Deluxe Room for one night. Everything was clean and room was spacious. We were told that the rooms on the upper floors are generally the better ones. For the cheap price very good. Location is good only 10 min from the Railway. You can also walk to the city or malls takes around 15 to 20minutes. For a short Stay in the city the hotel is perfect.

Capsule hotel. Basically you will be allocated a capsule bed built like lockers into the walls of the building basement. Very cheap and clean but be prepared for the minimalist design. WiFi and mobile internet do not work in the capsule

View is amazing. You can see all the way from Polgolla dam to Victoria dam, 22km of the Mahaweli river. Food is okay, I felt it was good enough considering this place is much cheaper than other hotels in Kandy. Triple rooms were very spacious as it could fit 4 people.
