The hotel is not so clean and the day we are there, in top floor restaurant there is a wedding ceremony. The fanfar of this event is too high and disturb us to sleep.

The hotel was indeed very clean and beautiful. The staff members were also exceptionally friendly. Furthermore, the breakfast was quite enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just the most charming colonial style bungalow tastefully updated with ensuite bathroom and small office. Located in a peaceful part of Kandy. The courtyard wasn't large, but it had a capitalist feel to it. The welcome cake was a carrot, and the breakfast and service at the Sri Lankan hotel were excellent – ​​warm and welcoming without making you feel uncomfortable. The room facilities were a bit dated.

I think this was my least favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. The carpet in the bedroom was filthy and needs replacing. The breakfast was very so so. The view is very pleasant. The first night there was a concert below the hotel near the lake which penetrated the walls so I needed ear plugs.

The least great place on our trip, the hotel in the city center. The air conditioning didn't work. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was great. In the morning we were able to see an elephant passing in the street 5 meters from us. The only one during our stay in the city.

Located in the hills but I short commute to the city’s restaurants and shopping, this hotel provides affordable accommodation in a beautiful area of the city. The staff are welcoming and friendly and can’t do enough for you. The room was clean and tidy, beds comfortable and had nice shower facilities. The buffet breakfast was quite nice and offered a good selection of fruits and hot food.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. My room was large with a really comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great view. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and was served in the rooftop restaurant. There is also a small outside swimming pool which unfortunately I didn't get the chance to use.

We came for the early morning “Kiri Ahara Pujawa” at Dalada Maligawa and stayed at Kandy City Hotel for one night. They prepared Kiri Ahara for us early in the morning, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel has a superb location in the middle of the city, within walking distance of all the attractions.

I had a very pleasant stay at Kandy City Hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Kandy with easy access to shops and attractions. A lovely hotel with a great vibe created by the owner. It’s located away from busy Kandy, which is actually a big plus after the noise and crowds of the town. Very peaceful and relaxing. We arrived at 8pm after our original accomodation fell through. Staff were able to accomodate us and made up a second room. We swam in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful views from the balconies. Balcony doors did swing open/close a bit. Breakfast was a good size - not too large like some others we had. It was the same on both days. Great location, right by the lake and walking distance to the tooth relic temple. I did have a monkey rob me of my $100 bill and everything with a wrapper in my luggage. We visited Brookside Resort, Wattegama with our family mainly because it’s quite close to Kandy and easy to reach. The view is nice and the swimming pool is good, especially for relaxing for a short time. A new hotel for wedding receptions as well as logging. Some arrangements are good, need to improve following. Parking is not enough and not secured. Ground floor and Manager room is well arranged. Staircases are not well arranged. 3 staircases for 1,2 floors and space is waisted. Washrooms are not well arranged and sign boards are not placed. 4th floor is for liquor and smoke but sometimes staff crossing...

Good hotel in Kandy, room is clean and staff are friendly. The food is good, I enjoyed the dosa and idly combo for breakfast. We had purchased some cashew along the way, the restaurant staff prepared it for us to taste as well.

Excellent service but A/C is not functioning well. Please look into it as a matter of urgency. Food was also good. The operations manager along with his colleagues were very friendly and courteous. My hats off to the operations manager. Also TV was not functioning properly and limited channels only. First day we were getting BBC and CNN. And suddenly these channels disappeared totally.

A hidden gem in Kandy. Big and cozy rooms welcome you. Prompt, attentive and smiling staff make sure you feel at home. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. What else you can ask for. Keep up the good work guys. Would love to revisit every time I come to Kandy.
