The location of this hotel is perfect—it's only a 10-minute walk from the station and right in the heart of the local area. However, the room itself was disappointing. The smell of cigarettes in the room was horrible, and the mattress was far too soft for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, and as someone who is 188cm (6'2"), I found the non-adjustable shower head very difficult to use. The rooms definitely need an upgrade to match the great location.

i like traveling around Europe by train, so i passed through Zurich on my way to Italy.
when i was looking for a hotel, I saw the room pictures and liked them a lot, so i decided to stay in this hotel.

-the hotel is 10-15 minutes away on foot from the central station, so when pulling a suitcase, the walk is not stressful. there is beautiful scenery while walking along the riverside.

-you can find many restaurants on “Niederdorfstrasse”
, which is just behind the hotel, making it very convenient.

-the hotel has no reception. Instead, the staff were at the bar, so when they saw me with my luggage, they immediately understood i was a guest and gave me the room key. when I checked out, i simply left the key-card in the mailbox in front of the entrance door.

it was my first time staying at a place without a reception, so before getting to the hot i was a bit worried, but in the end it was a very good hotel!

i will come back!

Very good place for our stay in Zürich. Although the room is relatively small, the location is excellent, very close to the city centre and the public transportation. I would definitely recommend it.

It is loud, the checkin is a cocktail bar so there is music and there are people smoking in front of it which makes it feel unsafe. Can’t open the window because of noise. The room is run down, no remote control for the tv.
Dirty laundry bags all over the hallway.

Great location and price
The hotel.looks recently renovated. Everything is quite clean and modern. The wifi is fast and TV supports casting. House cleaning has done a good job. Main issue is the blinds restrict the opening of windows so can't have effective ventilation and privacy at the same tme. A fan was provided to force some air

I stayed at this hotel in Zurich for two nights, and it was an excellent experience. The location is perfect, right by the Limmat River. Honestly, before booking I didn’t have very high expectations. But after checking in, I realized how lucky I was — I got such a wonderful room at such a reasonable price!
The staff were extremely friendly, the coffee in the room was delicious, the bed was very comfortable, and the nights were perfectly quiet, so I slept really well. The room had no flaws at all. I truly admire the person who designed it — everything was so well thought out and complete.
I stayed alone, but if two people were to stay, it might feel a little bit tight. Still, I highly recommend this hotel! Next time I come to Zurich, I’ll definitely stay here again!

It is literally in the middle of the old town. Pedestrian zone and walkable everywhere. Great central location. However, because of that, no on-site parking and need to use a public garage about a 10 minute walk away.

Also, several bars/clubs nearby so it was a bit boisterous in the evening but quieted right down at 11pm, no big deal.

The owner is wonderful and welcoming. We stayed in the apartment and it was large and comfortable. The balcony patio is a great bonus

Great location though a bit hard to find at first. The guy that works at the bar on the bottom floor also checks you in. He’s super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here. The bar and street noise can be heard from the rooms but during our stay it was quiet after midnight.
