Hotel Gregory in Zurich

I was more than satisfied. The towels are changed daily, as are the bins; everything is clean. The staff are kind and professional. You deserve 5 stars. Thank you again

This place was not cheap but which accomodation service is cheap in Zürich, am i right? However we got what we paid for. The rooms were clean and the external bathrooms were clean. Location was great, close to a lot of the places in the city.

--Problem--

There is a club just next to it and our window was looking to a busy street. There was a lot of noise coming from the outside, hence we had to close our window which made the room a bit unaired. However the two fans did help with air circulation so it was not that airless and hot at all inside the room.

--Recommendations--

They have less electric sockets than necessary. We were two people and with two of the fans working we could only charge one electronic device. There was not enough sockets so they can definitely solve that. Our TV was not also working, but we do not use it anyways. Another recommendation is getting a few washing machines. This is definitely not a must but would be cool if they had it. They would be able to gain money from this as well because they would charge every wash cycle and it would be a good service for travellers as well.

We booked for one night in Zurich. With respect to the cost of stay in Zurich, this stay is value for money for those who wants to explore the city because this hotel is not for luxury. We got basic amenities in this hotel. The entrance of the hotel is from the back side w.r.t. what is shown in Google map. The room & bathroom were very clean. Although the bathroom was not attached with the room, the bathroom was our personal one & key of the bathroom was given to us so that no other can use it. The reception was very helpful. This hotel is good for budget traveller & a short stay in Zurich. The location of this hotel is very good : walkable distance from Zurich HB.

Stayed here with my family during our Europe trip. The room was very clean and spacious. The receptionist was very kind and lend us her umbrella because it was raining. There was a migrolino near the hotel and the cashier helped us with currency differences as we were tourists. However, there was a party going on downstairs at night, but the noise was very faint in the rooms, did not disturb us.

Hotel Gregory far exceeded our expectations! We had a double room with an exterior private bathroom and both were immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and while the room was a little warm, it was nothing a fan and open window couldn't fix overnight. Soap/shampoo/towels provided. Very easy check-in/check-out and walkable distance to anywhere, notably to Zurich HB station. We stayed on a Friday night, so was a little loud from the hustle and bustle outside, but nothing we couldn't sleep through. Really great value for money - would definitely stay here again next time!
