The boutique hotel was the first hotel built in the community of Zermatt. It's located right in the centre of the village, near the train station. The charm and style of a 150 years-old building are harmoniously combined with modern luxury. Bright and spacious rooms and suites tastefully decorated in an individual manner. The hotel has a bar and a café. A great choice for a winter holiday in the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Location: in the centre of Zermatt, 500 metres from the ski lift, 84 km from Sion airport, 214 km from Geneva airport, 263 km from the airport of Milan in 373 km from Turin airport.

Consists of one 7-storey building.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mont Rosa Hotel in Zermatt. The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.

The hotel itself is charming and beautifully appointed, with so much character and history. It has that perfect blend of old-world elegance and modern comfort.

Staff very courteous and breakfast was quite good.
Amenities (bathroom): should be refilled when empty or nearly empty (hand soap, vanity fair, tissues).
Main comment would be on the smell of food in the hotel, especially during breakfast time. Our room was on the 4th floor and the smell was arriving until our room, in the elevator.. and we ended up with clothes smelling food very strongly.

Beautiful rooms and stay! The staff were phenomenal especially the receptionists. Very attentive to detail and polite! We had a wonderful stay here for Christmas and definitely would come back again!

An excellent hotel! They called us in advance to offer a complimentary pickup from the train station and they arranged a drop off too! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms for a one night stay to be on the Glacier Express in the morning. The breakfast is remarkable! Will definitely come back to stay there again!

Wonderful service. Very central in Zermatt. Amazing history. Bathroom was amazing, but the mattresses should be refurbished and provide pillow options.
