Staff! Due to a landslide caused by heavy rains, our party of 4 was stuck in Milan with no way to get back to Lugano. Hotel staff arrange a taxi to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel when all transpiration options were overtaxed and expensive. The staff literally saved us from a very difficult circumstance.

The staff took care of our every need. Special thanks for 5 star service from Luigi’s and Elisa! Elisa saved us from being stranded in Italy after the trains were cancelled and no other transportation in Milan could be found. Thanks

15.09.2025 Andrea

Excellent location! Very safe, just a few minutes from the lake and the city center! Good breakfast and very good staff service! Good value for the services offered.

15.09.2025 Elena

Clean rooms, friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Great location, safe, beautiful, relaxing walking and numerous places to enjoy warm weather.

07.09.2025 Christelle

It is in a very noisy part of the city.
No air conditioning, but if you open the windows for air, the noise from outside is so loud, you are unable to sleep.

While the property was incredibly convenient in terms of its location, we had issues finding parking nearby and our room was very hot. When we tried to use the A/C, the machine started to leak and did not stop for 12 hours. I woke up with a sore throat likely from moisture. When we checked out the next morning and let them know about this issue, they said that it’s been happening in our unit. Why rent out a room that you know is having water issues?? The hotel was definitely not fully booked. It’s a beautiful property with great staff, but not worth the price considering what we had to go through with water issues. I woke up sick and my husband barely slept from the constant drip of the A/C unit. It was the most expensive place we stayed on our entire road trip through Switzerland and Italy and we were pretty disappointed.
