This hotel delivers on the “Suisse Majestic” name.Location: Unbeatable. Right on Lake Lucerne with direct views of the water and Mt. Pilatus. 5 min walk from Lucerne station and the boat piers, and Chapel Bridge is just across the Seebrücke. You step outside and you’re in the postcard version of Switzerland.The Hotel & Room: The building itself is stunning — a historic 1870s property with Belle Époque charm, but the interiors are fully updated. We stayed in a Lake View Junior Suite and the balcony views were worth every cent. High ceilings, elegant furnishings, marble bathroom, and a super comfortable bed. Quiet, despite being central. Housekeeping was flawless.Service: This is where Autograph Collection standards shine. Staff were polished, warm, and genuinely attentive. Concierge arranged a private lake cruise and dinner reservations without any fuss. Turn-down service included handwritten notes and local chocolates — small details that feel luxurious.Dining: Breakfast at the AMMOS restaurant was outstanding. À la carte + buffet, with great coffee, fresh pastries, Swiss cheeses, and hot dishes made to order. We also had dinner at TAO’s — the Asian fusion menu and lake-view terrace at sunset are a must.Facilities: The small spa/sauna with a plunge pool is a nice retreat after hiking. No full gym, but the location means you’re better off walking the lakeside promenade anyway.Vibe: Refined and romantic without feeling pretentious. Perfect mix of history and modern Marriott luxury. You see couples, business travelers, and multi-gen families all feeling at home.Minor notes: As with most historic lakefront hotels, room sizes vary — ask for a lake view if you can. Valet parking is expensive, but typical for Lucerne. The elevator is a bit slow, but that’s part of the old-world charm.Overall: If you want a special-occasion stay in Lucerne with true Swiss grandeur, this is it. More character than a standard chain hotel, with service to match. Rating: 5/5

absolutely amazing, my fav hotel throughout my swiss trip! we were upgraded to a room with the lake view and the view was GORGEOUS!!! the hotel itself was very clean and modern, located literally one zebra crossing away from the train station, the staff were also very friendly and helpful, definitely a 11/10 experience for us!!

The best hotel in our 14D Swiss trip! Visited for Christmas market in montreux and the location of the hotel is just unbeatable right at train station and the market.
Hotel super clean, all staff are super friendly and the breakfast is super value for $ as kids under 7 dine free.
Gives good amenities and crazy crazy view from the balcony. MUST choose a lake view apt at all cost please.

This was my favorite hotel throughout my trip in Switzerland. The bellhop was always very enthusiastic about helping us with our luggage. We booked a lake view room, which offered views of Lake Geneva. The hotel is also conveniently located diagonally across from the train station, and there are a few decent Chinese restaurants nearby.

The hotel location is very close to train station, very good choice.
Don’t like the mattress as it is too soft which not fit to Asian.
