The staff were lovely. A massive shout out to Innocent who served us during our romantic beach dinner and also went above and beyond the following night for beach buffet dinner. An honourable mention to Sufiyan or Sufiyani I cannot remember his name properly but really great service at Bar & Grill restaurant. Hotel amenities were great with good food at both buffet restaurants. Only downside was that they could not guarantee us late checkout, however, the use of the showers and changing rooms alleviated this.

The room was very clean and had a balcony, which was very convenient for drying swimwear. The hotel was very large. We stayed near the front desk, and it was a long walk to the restaurant and the beach. The staff were very friendly. The hotel included two meals, and we stayed for three nights, so we went to a restaurant for dinner every night. The food was generally good, and the barbecue and pasta pizza were delicious. They were all European and American guests, and Asian faces were rare.

Great hotel, complete facilities, good service, and the sea in front of the hotel is also beautiful. The breakfast and dinner package is very cost-effective, and there are three free restaurants to choose from. There are only hotels nearby, not many restaurants.

The three meals were very good, the pool was beautiful, the beach and the sea were perfect. The band performances by the pool at night were very high quality and the atmosphere was great. On Saturdays, we caught up with the beach dinner and the Masai show. The room was large, the waiters were friendly and the service was good

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+
There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.
There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.
The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.
If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.
The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.
Overall though 9.5/10
I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

Decent hotel and clean rooms. However the bathrooms were not as modern or upscale as we would have expected from a 5 star resort. We also experienced a leak in the bathroom, which was fixed for us. The beach is very nice but doesn’t offer sunset view and goes under water if the tide is a bit high - 2/3 days for us. There are 3 restaurants to choose from for a full board but the sea food restaurant is available only if you pay extra. The quality of the breakfast and food in general was not bad but not too great either. Two pools to choose from but a kids club or a proper play are for younger kids would have helped.
