I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect, it was in the heart of stone town. Felt very safe, also felt like you were living like a local. The room was very spacious. The food was great. Breakfast had many options & the food from the restaurant was a 10/10. There’s also many things to do in the area such as shop, museums or even restaurants.

Good location - in the center of everything in Stone town. They don’t have water coolers for clients - you have to go to the restaurant to refill.
Also: it seems they bought another building. So they accommodated us in like 200 meters from main facility. Surely it’s kind of inconvenient but still ok.

Best hotel in Stone town? Had a very pleasant stay, the manager and his staff was very helpful and always observant about all the customers.

The Tembo B&B Apartments are not in the main hotel and is a short walk away. Our room was on the third floor and the building was on old one in Stone Town without any elevator. Tembo management as well as ******* should have made it clear to us before reserving this place. There is zero view from the windows/balcony except for depleted buildings around and one could not open up the curtains to get light into the room. The phots shown on the ******* website fare for the hotel and NOT of the B&B apartments. Strongly recommend to chose the hotel instead of the B&B Apartments unless you prefer to stay in a glorified hostel.

Hotel has buildings spread around the neighbourhood our room was150m from the main hotel and breakfast area. The positive was it was more quite to the road and call to prey noice!
Breakfast was good. Although a larger hotel it doesn’t sell alcohol so you tend not to use the facilities of an evening.
