Secret Garden Beach Resort in Bang Rak Beach

In short - I don't recommend it!!!
I don't understand where the inflated 8, 9, and 10 star ratings came from??? It's a bungalow, a stone glass, everything is concrete, including the bed and closets. We got a room with a view of the "garden." But the other side faces a road where mopeds and cars drive all night. The night is more or less bearable, but from 5:00 AM you're sleeping on a driveway. The location is out of reach; the pier and airport are nearby. The hotel is not suitable for relaxation. There's no parking; you leave your car or moped along the road wherever you can find a free space. There's a bungalow overlooking the pool (a puddle 6-7 meters in diameter), where there's also a restaurant and a bunch of tables. Three times a week, live music plays, and the entire area (which is very small) is filled with music lovers. There are no empty seats; there are 100-150 people from all the neighboring hotels wanting to visit this place. Ages 70+. They sing, dance, and dine. All this until 11:00 PM. Whether you like it or not, enjoy it since you've come here. There's no beach line, just 2 meters from the wall to the water, and that's not always the case; the tide reaches the wall. Jet ski rentals and a pier are nearby. Nothing romantic. It's best to skip breakfast. Everything is a la carte, with eight options, but they all consist of roughly the same ingredients: an egg, overcooked bacon, bread, a baguette, kurasan (I don't eat that much bread in a month), half a cup of coffee, and juice. Depending on the type of breakfast, they ask for an extra charge of 50-10-200 baht. A second half-cup of coffee is another 100 baht. In general, if breakfast is included in the price, it's advisable to spend another 500 baht on the extra charge, fruit, and coffee. I'm not against this hotel; I chose it myself based on the reviews, but I didn't like it. The room rate in January was 100 euros. We stayed for three nights. We moved to another hotel, which we had seen in person beforehand.

The pool is really nice and being right on the beach is a plus.

Reception was friendly at first, but often absent when we needed them. The restaurant staff weren’t very welcoming, and the room felt a bit strange, with the bathroom not well maintained. Also, trash was being put out literally right under our bathroom window at night, which was unpleasant.

Went for their all you can eat ribs on a Thurs night. Location is stunning and we were lucky to witness a stunning sunset there. The ribs were ok only - half were cooked properly and the other half were undercooked. Plus, there's a 30+ min wait for more ribs whenever you ask, likely on purpose to slow people down. The sides and shakes were nice.
