The Pelican Residence & Suite Krabi in Klong Muang

Location:
If you want to stay away from crowded places like Ao Nang and still want to enjoy serene beaches of Krabi, This location is perfect.

Seven-11 is at walking distance.
Beach is just 60 to 100 meter from the property.

Property: Property is awesome, well maintained.
Rooms are exactly as shown in the images of Agoda listing
Only issue is slow water flow, and Toiletries can be much better that what is offered.
It do not match with standards of the property.

Food: No food available at Property but you can buy things from outside and cook in the kitchen.

Service:
Hotel service has a scope of improvement.
But yeah, Manager was so supportive and kind. Special thanks to him.

Note: traveling from this place to Ao Nang is almost 8 KM. Took Tooks are costly, we found Bolt Cabs are almost 50% low than Took tooks.

Overall it was a great stay.

Pelican has left us with mixed feelings. The floor space is abundant, the internal finish is nice, the resort pool is great even for swimming. And here comes the BUT. When we arrived, the apartment was filled with some strange smell, we soon realized that it was coming from the floor drains. When we reported it, the stuff was helpful, they did something that resolved the problem for a few days, but unfortunately the smell came back right before our last night.
The location is great if you are not looking for a busy place, the local beach is full with nice restaurants. The taxi ride to Ao Nang was ~200 each way and took 20 minutes.
Overall we had a good time, but the sewer smell did not help.

Fantastic Stay, Especially for Families!

We had a wonderful stay at The Pelican Residence and Suites Krabi. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beautiful Koh Kwang beach. The resort boasts a large and inviting swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers for everyone to relax.

What truly stood out was the attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were incredibly grateful for the generous upgrade from our two booked deluxe rooms to a spacious Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite. This was especially appreciated as we were traveling with our daughter, and the extra space and two bathrooms in the 144 sqm suite (with pool view and balcony!) perfectly accommodated our family's needs. While connecting rooms or rooms on the same floor weren't available as requested, this upgrade more than made up for it. The suite itself was very comfortable with two queen beds, a separate shower/bathtub in each of the two bathrooms, and even a kitchenette.

The care and attention we received made our trip so much smoother and enjoyable. We will definitely be visiting The Pelican Residence and Suites Krabi again in the future and highly recommend it, particularly for families looking for a comfortable and well-located stay with exceptional service.

Our Seaview room was clean and had just what we needed. Stayed for 3 weeks in Feb/Mar. At most saw two adults and two children at pool. Had it to ourselves most days. Oddly there was no grout in pool but seemed to work fine. Security seemed good. There is a gym but just barely. The power went off for a bit every few days but it seemed normal for the area.
