Best Hotels in Khao Lak

I already asked to change my room which reception were very helpful and sent someone to show me other rooms. I found another room which initially seemed better but was in the process of being cleaned

Unfortunately they did not fix the problem and simply rolled up a towel next to the shower door. Although staff responded promptly to any complaints, nothing was actually rectified

After inspecting the room i noticed the toilet seat had stains and was of a low quality. The pool area was not clean and had many stains, also the table outside was stained

The shower leaked each time we used it and created a pool of water covering the bathroom floor, i reported this to reception who quickly sent out engineers

The pool had loads of bugs and the light was flickering. I informed reception, who quickly sent someone to clean the pool and repair the light

Breakfast had a large selection, although a bit pricey it was worth the cost

If you are too picky - there is no direct access to the sea, you need to walk around the area for about 10 minutes, there is no equipped beach near the hotel either, but you can rent a bicycle, a bike is paid, or usually there is a taxi near the exit, about 10 minutes to the excellent White Sand Beach

Good Service and Good price. I saw their service mind and glad to see them. Nice and clean room and see beach from my room.

Water in shower was salt and almost always hot, breakfast soso , aircon is loud and old. Maybe you can find better around on this price. Beach near hotel not good too.

For some reason, there are few hotel guests, perhaps due to the remoteness of the hotel. Bicycles are free to rent, and there are several cafes nearby, although you can eat entirely in the hotel restaurant

THB1500 for a room with 3 single beds. they provide a van to Apsara entrance from which you need to walk 3min by beach to a memories beach with surf rentals. restaurants around are not working

Cozy, well-kept hotel, attentive staff, beautiful swimming pool with a slide. From the ground floor there is an additional exit to the terrace

Beyond is an excellently organized hotel where you can spend your vacation carefree.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Setting is lovely great selection of pools. Including swim up cocktail bar. Next door there is a beach restaurant which does great food and cocktails

The rooms are large and spacious, and the staff is super friendly and available for anything. The Thai people are truly wonderful! We'll definitely be back for another stay

Also no watersports activities (SUP boards etc)available anymore, only a weird French club of some kind but because we dont understand French, we dont know what thats about

Its still a beautiful setting and a lovely resort with excellent surroundings, but the concept seems to be lost now

Great value for money. The place was lovely. Breakfast was a bit limited, and the bathroom lighting was quite dim. But overall, it was good, and the ambiance truly gets a perfect 10/10.

The hotel is mainly for people 60+ Breakfasts are delicious, no one will go hungry. The room background is quite worn out, but everything is in good order and clean. The beach near the hotel is not suitable for swimming

The room is very spacious. The shampoo and conditioner here make my hair soft. The swimming pool is wide and long. The breakfast is just right. The receptionist is nice. The location is near Nang Thong Beach. I like it.

It was great because it was close to the beach and not too far from the city center. The staff was also very friendly, so I was grateful

We went on a bike to Kokonat, it is beautiful

However, it was too quiet, so I was careful, and the facilities were a bit outdated

We stayed at this hotel from October 16th to 20th. This is our third visit, so we like it. Convenient location, nice rooms, decent breakfasts. Excellent value for money.

Loved out stay in Bayfront Resort! A very private beach, which we felt is one of the best in Khao Lak. The seaside bungalow offered a great vantage point and (of course) convenient access to the sand

Good accommodation, good staff, beautiful atmosphere, exactly as advertised.

The hotel is well suited for children. Rooms with direct pool access are amazing, I recommend spend a bit more money and choose this room type. Main pool is busy.

Really nice hotel in great location. The 2 bedroom rooms are huge though its about 10-15 m8ns walk to the restaurant main pool and beach as its a big hotel.

It would be great if they could add more stations to make the service quicker. Spa treatments are wonderful The staff were generally friendly and attentive, though the restaurant staff seemed a bit overloaded at times

The experience at La Flora was great. Staffs were really welcoming and friendly. Lovely clean beach, buffet breakfast was great. Had a great staff. The only complaint I have is the smell of the drainage from the toilet.

We had the best time at Chongfah. Staff is very helpful and professional. Celebrated my wife birthday in Beachfront bungalow and staff decorated the room, arranged a special sea side dinner, an open air Thai massage

A very nice place for realxation. Close to everything you need. Happy staff an good breakfast. Beds very good. Highly recommended!

They really go the extra mile to make sure you have the best vacation. The location is away from the main tourist locations but these are an easy 10 minute walk away with plenty of options for eating and shopping

So many things to see and do here I highly recommend a visit to the Similan Islands and the National parks within the vicinity. We hired motorbikes for 3 days and were able to take off into the hills to explore

Super breakfast each morning where you can eat overlooking the beach. Hotel is super clean, quiet and well maintained. What truly made our stay special were the wonderful staff we met each and everyday

30 room boutique hotel not same rambling impersonal resort. Stayed in a garden bungalow I am not too good at walking so did not want a huge resort where it was 500 metres just to get to breakfast

Downside is quite a bit of maintenance required on pool decking req , and not the best on the beach front. No immediate other bars on the beach requires a good walk along the beach

The hotel has good service, excellent breakfasts. The restaurant menu is not large, but what is there is cooked excellently. We liked to dine in different places

The overall hotel is very good. The rooms are very large with everything you could want in a room. The little things that make it special are the robes, flip flops, toiletries, fruit platter on arrival

Breakfast had a good selection however just be vigilant when choosing some things they may have ants in the trays especially the chocolate coissants. Lunch & dunner menu was fabulous large portions so you could share

Major renovation also going on at beach side, that makes it not too good visually. It wasn't mentioned while booking though their website mentions it

We usually stay at other hotels, but we decided to try the Ramada! We loved the hotel – it's compact, comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and it has one of the best beaches on Khao Lak

The hotel offers free activities – yoga, carving, batik, napkin folding, color-coding, and much more! If you're looking for the company of Russian tourists, if you're looking for a Turkish-style vacation—constant parties, drinking, and adventure—then Ramada is definitely not for you

The food was delicious, and it was great to see options for kids as well. The pool, garden, and overall atmosphere were very relaxing and enjoyable. 👏👏 I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khaolak

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. 👍 What impressed us the most was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very helpful and always smiling😀which made us feel truly welcome

Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk)

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we could not have picked a better location, the room was spacious and clean, the grounds were well maintained the pool areas were clean with plenty of sun loungers the beach restaurant was sea facing with very good food with great service from Nim and her team with the added bonus of sipping a cocktail whilst watching the amazing sunset

We also very much appreciated her good English, as our Thai was limited to hello and thank you! This hotel is good value for money and prices not so different from the main ***** in khao lak (unless you go to the outskirts)

Sali the manageress was a excellent host who took the time to come round every morning to speak to the guests to ensure every one was happy and enjoying there stay

Wondering around the resort was always a joy and we found many things to enjoy when using the many different routes to and from our room. We really cannot thank everyone enough for making our stay an amazing one

We had an amazing stay at Wanaburee Resort in Khao Lak and couldn’t recommend it more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and nature, with the beach right on your doorstep

The room is clean and very spacious. It's a bit far from tourist attractions, but close to food sources. The price is not expensive. The staff is helpful and provides good information.

Looking for a good alternative to Thai Food? Try real thin Italian style pizzas from the wood stove as well as tiramisu and panna cotta. The service is friendly and quick. Anytime again!

We stayed at Seaview Resort in a Deluxe Pool Villa, and overall had a very good experience. The resort has the potential to be truly outstanding, but signs of wear are visible in the general areas

💰 Value for Money – 7/10 Approximately 1200–1400 SEK/night for two in high season – very reasonable for what you get. 🍳 Breakfast – 8/10 Fresh and good quality with plenty of choice

With some maintenance (paint, cracks, landscaping, refill ponds), this could easily be a top-tier 10/10 property. That said – the villa itself was excellent

Really nice hotel with amazing views of Khao Lak, probably the best view in the area, with a private beach and access to the public beach with a 2min walk. Nice room with quality equipment

Breakfast might be a bit expensive for the quality. Nice path to run along the main road to Khao Lak center

this is an absolutely fantastic place! the view actually took my breath away immediately on arrival! the rest did not disappont either! 20 out 5 all in all! the place is a collection of small bungalows scattered on a slope between the trees

there are also cats in the area wandering along the pathways and sleeping on the balconies generating cosiness. if you see a small grey cat - be nice to her, she's a very delicate and sweet creature

Raiwin helped me for both and I found she was the nicest and most helpful person I have experienced in all of my Thailand journeys. She is a masterclass in hospitality and just really made me smile

Each room is in fact a small bungalow with a nice balcony. My friend and I we stayed at a AC room, closer to the shore area. A few things that might help you, if you’d like to stay there: - stairs

The Lightouse is more modern, even has a big hot water reservoir in the Bathroom so you can shower super hot if wanted, large Balconies and better views, so both hotels have their advantages and are very good value for the money paid

Many shops restaurants, FX, gift shops within 5 minutes walking, beautiful surrounding area. I will be visiting again, it's like paradise, you can relax or book tours there's something for all, photos to follow later

Great Hotel right next to the Kokotel Lightouse. While the seascape itself does not have amenities besides an open lobby, one can use everything from the Lighthouse Hotel (Pool, Sunbeds etc)

If you are traveling on a Budget and/or are fine with a spacious but not super large room, the Seascape is perfect

It was really very clean. Unfortunately, you had to walk a bit to 7-Eleven, but otherwise it was very good.

Good atmosphere, draft beer at very good prices. happy hour buy 1 get 1 free is a great answer

Pros: right in front of the beach. Breakfast was good and staff was nice. You can also rent a motorbike with them. Cons: room felt very closed and dark and little ventilation

However, the hotel offers a great breakfast with many classic options, local dishes, a good selection of fruit, and above all, fantastic coffee (bean-to-cup)

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main street, which offers many shopping and dining opportunities. The hotel also features a beach restaurant/bar, but it is a bit pricey, so we skipped it

Room was huge with the best outdoor shower ever! Super comfortable bed, lovely double sink, 2 showers, 2 bathrooms, just fabulous! The beach is beautiful, clean, spacious & you're looked after with water throughout the day

What sets the place apart though is the staff, they are so friendly & genuinely look like they enjoy their jobs, also the alacarte breakfast served til 6pm is excellent

A stunning place of pure luxury. We were only here for 2 nights of our 3 week Thailand trip & were exceptionally fortune enough to not only experience The Sarojin, but receive an amazing upgrade to a jacuzzi pool suite

It does attract an older clientele, not often I can say as a couple in our early 50s that we felt young, but we did, ha, we'd definitely return but only for a few nights as we like a bit more to do in an evening

Even just being able to briefly explain the key points would have been helpful. It seems the hotel doesn't see the need to train its front desk staff in Chinese due to the relatively low number of Chinese tourists

Since we don't have scuba diving certifications, we don't know how amazing the scuba diving was, but if you're only going for snorkeling, it's about the same level as Saipan, far inferior to the Maldives

Conversely, because it's not a Chinese-friendly hotel, most Chinese tourists are less inclined to choose it, creating a mutually reinforcing cycle that's unlikely to be resolved anytime soon

I was pleasantly surprised to encounter two non-frontline staff members who proactively approached me in Chinese to ask if I needed assistance and could even have a simple conversation

It is very close to the beach, the environment is very beautiful, and the service attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. Next time I come to Khao Lak, I will choose this hotel again

Resort with the best location and sea view, on the beach!!! Very comfortable lounge and swimming pool chairs! Also a very good restaurant with very affordable prices and delicious Thai food!

Very good hotel. The room has everything, TV, kettle, toiletries. The territory is well-kept, few people. Very peaceful atmosphere. If you need parties, this is not the place for you.

A good resort with beautiful view and lot of space. As it's the corner most one, the beach almost feels like private. The rooms are pretty big with balcony

Helped us get motorbikes and negotiate with the company when we had a small accident with one of the bikes and also arranged flawless transfer to/from the airport. He also runs a travel agency from the reception office

Very quiet and can enjoy your vacation peacfully. Could have informed us the room is getting booked by other people beforhand. We asked 1 day earlier and had to move out and search something else unfortuanetly

I was able to book 2 nights here on last minute. The room was comfortable and slept well. My shower did not work properly, but the staff fixed it, even at 9 pm

Say hello to the solitary snakehead fish that resides in the pond next to reception. AND there are 15 cats on the premises and they could name them all!

Unlike the other review from today we never had any issues with the manager. Always helpful but sometimes he is a bit stressed out and distraught

The people that work there are incredible even by Thai standards. The pool is beautiful the grounds are immaculate. The hot water situation is a mystery.  The WiFi is hit or miss but that’s pretty much everywhere
