Best Hotels in Khao Lak

Was just a quick one night family weekend getaway. Rooms are ok bed very comfortable. It's very basic great if your on a strict budget and looking for best value for money. We have breakfast included not tried that yet

Good hotel, but some renovation would be helpful. There was a airwick air parfume scent in the shower. If the room is clean enough this is not needed.

The hotel itself was good - well situated on the beach, calm, but not to far from everything. The staff was very kind and helpful. The have a restaurant and beach beds in the beach.

From the seaside of the hotel you can enter the beach directly by passing a small temple area or heading to the breakfast restaurant which is directly at the beach

The hotel is very relaxed with excellent staff. The rooms are built among the plam trees, large and very comfortable

We were here in the off season. Just right for those seeking peace. The resort is in a good location. Right on the beach and only 5 minutes walk to city life. The rooms are not worn as some describe it

Don’t remember much of the detail but here are some topics: The security guard was very chill. The nature surrounding the pathways hosts many lizards and gekos

The only slight downside is the beach - due to erosion the beach outside the property is small and the neighbouring property was under going construction to build a retaining wall on the beach - but this wasn't outlined when I booked

However, having said all of that, I would still recommend it for its beautiful landscape gardens and its proximity to the main road with hundreds of bars and restaurants

My partner and I recently stayed here and it was phenomenal. The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly. The food was amazing, the resort offered a variety of both Thai and Western style food

Good place to stay calm.. long swimming pool and good room also good breakfast. But 1 thing is too far from everything if you don't have a car.

Peaceful place Cozy cottage village in a peaceful area. A rooster crowed in the mornings, which was charming in its own way. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom smelled of sewage

In a valley surrounded by mountains, giving it an open yet a very cozy feel. Villas are beautiful outside and inside. Breakfast is healthy and tasty. People are welcoming and genuinely warm

Absolutely worth the price, this stay was miles better than close by resorts priced three times higher. Will absolutely love to come here every few months to shake off the city mindset

The La Vall’e offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy town of Khoa Lak but still easy to get to the town, which has plenty of shopping, restaurants and activities on offer

Very good price-performance ratio. Clean, quiet rooms with a balcony. Friendly hotel staff. A small parking lot is availabe. Location is good to reach everything.

Rooms were very clean, spacious and quiet. The price was 600thb per night so excellent value!

Excellent place for a budget stay in Khao Lak

The owners of the hotel and their employees are extremely nice and helpful, I have stayed in this hotel several times and I feel part of the family. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and with everything you want

This is some 5 star vibe 2 star place. Simple, clean, comfortable, affordable.

This place is excellent. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. It's a quaint small place on the main road, just a few minutes walk from Bang Niangh market, and loads of other amenities. Well worth a visit.

The rooms are pretty good, the only down side is that the windows are not fully closed, there is a gap between the doors to the balcony allowing some bugs to enter (we had a wasp as guest)

Hotel Gahn is easily the best hotel we stayed at in Thailand. First of all, it’s incredibly stylish and modern — if you’re a fan of architecture or interior design, this place is a dream

But the biggest highlight is the staff and excellent customer service. They were very attentive, kind and helpful

Hôtel Gahn is a hidden gem, aside from the convenient location - walking distance to everything (market, muy Thai fight stadium, beaches, supermarket, 7/11, restaurants, laundry, pharmacy), the included breakfast was great; they make barista coffee and great omelettes

Mouth resort is probably the best resort to stay in Khao Lak. The host made it memorable. The price you pay for the service you get is top value. If we come we will definitely book here again.

Bed was a bit soft and the pillows a bit hard, but very good air conditioning and otherwise a great stay

We were there in the quiet season and almost had the place to ourselves. The owner was super friendly and kind, made us breakfast each morning even though we didn't think it was included

Wonderful, quiet and modest family run accommodation away from the busier area. Cheap motorbikes to rent for a fun way to get down to the beach, markets, waterfalls, etc

Had and wonderful stay here , everything is so clean and friendly, the gardens are so pretty. Motorbikes are easy to rent here for a good price. Breakfast also very good and the family that run it very helpful

We had the perfect stay here! It’s run by a lovely family, it might not look super impressive in the photos, but the room was so incredibly clean (one of the cleanest we’ve had in months!) and spacious

Good hotel with a very nice owner. All the basics you might need, good for a couple nights' stay. Around 10 minutes by car from the bustling area of Khao Lak with all the shops and restaurants etc

Tasty breakfast, a little bit far from everything but for 3 days was perfect. No grab functionality, can not order food or transport. Clean and spatious room, quiet zone. I loved the stay.

A lovely place run by a very helpful couple. The rooms were large (106) comfortable & cleaned daily. Small swimming pool which was great to keep cool

The room came with a fridge, strong wifi, great water pressure/ consistent hot water, a hair dryer, loads of hangers and space to store belongings… laundry can be done on site (free) and when you’re traveling, this was so helpful as it was one less thing to have to think about! Breakfast was simply amazing

Room was in the 4th floor which is a pain. But had all the ammenities, hot shower, good Wi-Fi and an amazing balcony. The lady from the staff was among the best I caught as well

The location couldn't be better, it's next to the night market and the main street. It's also 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned every day

Additionally, she is so kind and will even drop off/ pick up at the surrounding beaches for you if needed! Her staff is so kind and they are always smiling and laughing

The location is perfect! While you’re central to the restaurants and market, it’s very quiet and you don’t hear any noise. The closest beach is a 5-8 min walk away

The hotel has a great location and good rooms on the first line, breakfasts and sunsets are wonderful, the room is perfectly clean, there are robes, slippers, toothbrushes and other hygiene products

Great place - lots of space, direct on a quiet beach with easy acess to the sea. Starboard SUP boards for rent - the best:) The management is present and the staff is very attentive and polite

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nearby there is all the necessary infrastructure, shops, exchange offices, street food, restaurants, massage. The territory is well-groomed, beautiful, there is parking

There aren't many sun loungers by the beach, but there are plenty for everyone, as the hotel's guests are mostly foreigners, and they lounge by the pool. We've already decided to return next year

The sofa, TV, and bedroom areas were clearly divided. The pool was beautiful, the room view was good, and the cake at the cafe tasted okay

WoW this Beach Restaurant is amazing. We stay at Devasom Resort but the food is so much better then in the Hotel. The people are sooo friendly. It was the best food that we had in Khao lak. Thank you very very much🙏❤️

Equally I didn't use the pool so can't comment Breakfast is buffet and only average. Fresh eggs to your choice, fruit, toast etc. The beach is lovely, plenty of sun loungers and good service from the bar staff

The food is very good here - I really recommend the masomann curry

Some in need of updating with leaky air con units, discoloured bath and bathroom floor, poor shower, BUT you don't spend much time in there. Other rooms look more modern so they may be better

Beautiful resort, and the staff were great! Definitely great value and would recommend for anyone visiting Khao Lak. Very relaxed vibe, and not overcrowded like some resorts in Thailand

Amazing resort experience between the nature. The room we got is a big one with a big bathroom and amazing view. The staff were very friendly and nice

Friendly staff, well cleaned rooms and good breakfast for an affordable price. They also have a pool which is decent but did not use it a lot considering the hotel is close to the sea anyways.

Great location and close to the beach and bars/restaurants. This was our second stay. Basic bungalows and well priced with nice poolside area

The pool was the best part of this property along with its proximity to the beach……. The room decor was tired but it was kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was limited but tasty but no other meals/ bar was offered

Detached houses, there is a swimming pool, which I have not tried. The sea is nearby, if through the garbage, 30 m. The beach is excellent, large, sandy

Pool is a great size and really nice to chill by. A small beach for swimming is literally across the road or a very short walk to the main one. We actually extended are stay here as we liked it so much

We woke up late and missed breakfast, so we ordered food, but the owner ended up giving it to us for free! We ordered lunch around 12:30 PM because we overslept and missed breakfast, but the owner was so incredibly nice and sweet

A family run business seems to have soul and we felt it from when we arrived, to a laugh and conversations about the best beach (Coconut Beach) and where to go for crispy pork (Bang Niang Night Market) to our farewell

The rooms were clean, spacious and the bathrooms equally as good. The pool was great especially to relax by in the heat. The beach was around 25mins walk but once you reach it, it is amazing

Staff is super nice and the layout is nice and basic. Pool in the middle and all ammenities in the room. TV turned on twice middle of the night. Breakfast could be a bit better

The bathroom is clean and the shower is more than suitable, especially because it gave me all the hot water I needed to wash my hair (a girl thing)

We were greeted by Bask as soon as we rolled-up on our motorbike. He swiftly checked us in and assisted us with taking our bags to the room

Our room (101) right next to the carpark was easily accessible for us with our bits and pieces to pack and unpack

The villas are big, even the small ones, well equipped and sparkling clean. As the villas are situated aside a long alley from the lobby, using the bikes the resort provides for free, it's very convenient

My husband stayed at this amazing hotel a couple weeks ago and I couldn't recommend it more. From the moment you arrive, the staff goes above and beyond expectations to make your time there enjoyable

Yet we mostly dinned at the hotel's restaurant which is clean , decent priced and the food is tasty. The breakfast is A La Carte, good and tasty but I guess it is the only thing I would improve

Although the walk to the villa is a bit long, they have a golf cart to take you and our luggage there when you check in and check out as well as bikes available to rent for free during your stay

We didn't have anything booked to do during the day prior to arriving and the staff was so helpful arranging tours last minute at discounted rates compared to what is listed in the brochure and giving advice about what is best to do for your needs

If your tour leaves before breakfast time, they will pack a sandwich and fruit for you to take with and always ask how it was when you come back. Really fantastic service, we highly recommend you stay here for your trip

The perfect private hotel stay. Individual cottages, perfectly clean and quaint - a good place to be left alone. Not an "involved" hotel experience. We loved it. Well located too.

Lovely relaxing place with large modern clean bungalows including kitchen and microwave. Each bungalow has a good sized patio too. Nice sized pool, good maid service and pleasant garden surroundings

Great place, relaxing stay just 5 mins from town and 15 mins from the beach,very chilled staff,free bikes,good breakfast,clean well equipped villa's,can't wait to return.

Breakfasts are made to order by the wonderful staff but a few croissants or different fruits / cornflakes would be nice. This is certainly a good choice in Khao Lak and we will certainly return

Rooms have clean towels daily, lovely white bedding, safes and excellent air conditioning units. The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is that the breakfast is not varied

There is choice of orange juice, good coffee, muesli, plain yoghurt, two different bread types, bacon, eggs, watermelon, pineapple, bananas and limited salad selection

The bed was very hard and the small bathroom and shower are got completely wet when taking a shower. quiet location that was close to everything

During my stay, the resort proved to be a perfect pit stop, offering good value and convenience that exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the resort's ability to accommodate late-night check-ins was a major plus

For this price, this accommodation is great! I was worried because there weren't any Korean reviews, but it's only about a 10-minute drive from Taplamu Pier, making it a great place to stay for a night before or after a Similan tour

We went on a Similan tour, stayed in a BMP after the Similan tour, checked out of the BMP, went ATV and rafting, and now we're at JW Khao Lak! We'll be staying at JW for a few more days before heading back to Korea

There are local supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for meals, and there's also a local market for beer and other drinks. The chicken place called Five Star next to the 7-Eleven was delicious

We had a lovely stay! Clean Bungalows that offer everything you need. Daily roomservice with an extreme devoted cleaning Lady. The hosts were very nice and open for any question. Good breakfast with plenty of fruit

This little place is hidden away from the main big road but close enough to all amenities (2km). It is a very quiet and relaxing spot. The rooms are spotless and well decorated, the owners are lovely and very helpful

Everything was great. We wished we stayed longer. The customer service beyond expectations, rooms are big and super clean and location is great. We sat on a porch each evening to listen to nature. 5 stars!

This year for the second time. Very idyllic location, quiet and far from the hustle and bustle. Renting a scooter is recommended, however, as the facility is not directly on the beach

The bungalow was clean and spacious, the garden is beautiful and well maintained. A serene refuge :) Karl the owner took good care of us, rented out a scooter for a very good price and answered all questions

This is a charming, small property with lots of wildlife and peace. It’s a great spot if you are not a fan of traffic noise, but a car or scooter is a must for easy access to restaurants and beaches

The owner/ proprietor is a delight :) the rooms are nice, but not overly fancy. The bed was comfortable and the bird song and cicada serenade was calming. The patio/balcony is a lovely spot to have morning coffee

There is a real wardrobe, power outlets in all the right places, perfect lighting, a large fridge, and a kitchen fully equipped for cooking. The Location: It is very peaceful

About a 10-minute drive to the main market and only 2 minutes from a beautiful beach near the JW Marriott. The Experience: Karl and his staff are simply perfect

He has over 20 years of experience and built the whole place himself. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it so much that we extended our stay for 2 more nights! The breakfast is also lovely

Clean and comfy rooms adjacent a nice pool area. Breakfast was good with eggs of your choice, fresh bread, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Location is quiet off the main road

We arranged van taxi from phuket airport for 1500 bahts and from hôtel to our hôtel in phuket kathu area for 2200 bahts ( 2 people) Swimming pool, nice location, manager on the top Just check whats wrong about bad smell in the bathroom

I really enjoyed spending one night in this cozy and stylish place. The hotel located not on the beach, but has a quiet natural location. The boss was very nice and polite, informed us about attractions around

It's a bit of a walk to beach but equidistant to the two town centres. We are happy walking so this was no issue to us and it was nice to be away from the road with the hills and jungle as a backdrop

Food - breakfast is very good, buffet and order from menu, very generous portions. Lunch and dinner are good also - eat inside or alfresco

Quaint 3 star BEACH FRONT resort off the main road, very reasonable rates.   The staff are exceptional, particularly Hong, Ao, Yeerarf and Pua. They will do anything needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible

She is a one woman army and takes care of that place so well. If I can give 10 stars for customer service I would. The place itself is clean, cute, and I feel a bit more authentic than some of the other places around

The rooms are spacious and SUPER clean.   The safe is actually connected to a wall.   There is a small fridge in the room and coffee supplies. The infinity pool is a very comfortable temperature

Hong Was amazingly accommodating to the point where I had left my passport at the Phuket airport. She arrange for a car to get it and reassured me everything will be OK
