Khao Lak Blue Lagoon Resort in Khao Lak

My husband stayed at this amazing hotel a couple weeks ago and I couldn't recommend it more. From the moment you arrive, the staff goes above and beyond expectations to make your time there enjoyable. Although the walk to the villa is a bit long, they have a golf cart to take you and our luggage there when you check in and check out as well as bikes available to rent for free during your stay. The walk itself is lovely regardless. The villa was spacious and comfortable, kept spotlessly clean by the staff. I had to spend one of the days of our holiday working remotely and there were plenty of spaces to sit and work without losing connection to the internet. The biggest reason you should stay at this hotel is the staff. We didn't have anything booked to do during the day prior to arriving and the staff was so helpful arranging tours last minute at discounted rates compared to what is listed in the brochure and giving advice about what is best to do for your needs. If your tour leaves before breakfast time, they will pack a sandwich and fruit for you to take with and always ask how it was when you come back. Really fantastic service, we highly recommend you stay here for your trip.

We loved this resort, you can totally relax. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms or bungalows were very spacious and modern. Also they have a private area at the see were you can see the sunset. I would recommend this resort if you’re staying in Khoa Lak.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Blue Lagoon Resort. If you want a quiet location with your own private villa, in the middle of a luxuriant garden, this is the place for you. The villas are big, even the small ones, well equipped and sparkling clean. As the villas are situated aside a long alley from the lobby, using the bikes the resort provides for free, it's very convenient. We rented a car as the region has lots to offer and yes, the vibrant Khao Lak and Bang Niang night market would be otherwise difficult to access. If driving is not a solution for you (traffic can be a little bit crazy) taxis are available at about 300-350 baht a ride to Khao Lak. Speaking about transport, we used the airport transfer shuttle the resort organized for us and it was the perfect choice.The resort has it's own small beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas and the personnel regularly cleans the beach they own. Anyway, you have miles of sandy beach almost for yourself, as the area is not crowded at all. Just a couple of minutes away from the resort you can find 2 restaurants, a lot of massages and a tiny shop where you can buy basic stuff. Yet we mostly dinned at the hotel's restaurant which is clean , decent priced and the food is tasty. The breakfast is A La Carte, good and tasty but I guess it is the only thing I would improve. Not in quality , nor in quantity but in diversity. For a longer than a week stay, I felt I needed one ore two more options in the mornings.
In the lobby area there is a nice and clean pool but the ocean is just a few steps away, so I didn't use the poll at all.
All, but really all the staff is fantastic. From the cleaning ladies who make the rooms to shine, to the restaurant and the reception staff, everybody tries to make your stay fantastic. A special mention for Mrs Vee, the manager , who is always present in everything that goes on in the resort.
So if you want peace and tranquility, yet decent access to the busy areas of Khao Lak, I guess this is great choice. Thank you Mrs Vee, thank you Blue Lagoon Resort!

We had 4 nights and it was wonderful. The resort is located away from the tourist area but you have a few restaurants nearby and a minimarket where you can buy basic stuff. You need to walk 50m from the restaurant of the hotel to get to the beach which was not crowded at all during our stay in november.
The rooms were perfect for us with a separate bedroom with our toddler. The baby cot was there when we arrived.
The service personnal was very helpful and we have never tried such a good cleaning before.
There are two baby chairs in the restaurant.
I would highly recommend this place if you want to go to a more quiet place.

A peaceful hotel located right by the beach. Friendly service and sizeable rooms.

I stayed at the Blue Lagoon Resort for 7 nights and it was delightful. The resort is made up of around 23 bungalows, which means it is not crowded. The bungalows are beautiful and give the feel of a home away from home. Fresh flowers are put into the bungalows every day, which I loved. The beach next to the resort is very quiet, as if it was a private beach. The resort area is full of palm trees and beautiful flowers. If you are looking to relax in a beautiful environment, I would highly recommend Khao Lak Blue Lagoon.

Lovely family run resort right by one of the best beaches in Khao Lak. Large bungalows set in gardens filled with tropical plants and flowers. Great family pool to lounge around. The breakfast is decent except the coffee. The menu has a great selection and is absolutely delicious. This place is a great choice for a holiday!

Lovely place if you have a car to move around Khao Lak, otherwise too isolated. Not for party people or very young travellers. Excellent service, beautiful rooms in a well cared garden. Two room villas really nice worth it the price, but deluxe room are also lovely. Ask for a villa on the lagoon when booking. Nice beach just out of the resort, even if not the best in Khao Lak, but perfect if you want solitude and total relax. Not many bells and whistles like other resorts, but definitely excellent price quality ratio for the overall level of the resort (and we're a bit picky so trust me ;) )
