B.M.P Resort in Khao Lak

Everything medium. Good for few days

The bed was very hard and the small bathroom and shower are got completely wet when taking a shower. quiet location that was close to everything

For this price, this accommodation is great!
I was worried because there weren't any Korean reviews, but it's only about a 10-minute drive from Taplamu Pier, making it a great place to stay for a night before or after a Similan tour. There's also an ATV and bamboo rafting spot just a 10-minute drive away (we went on an Andaman ATV), so it was easy to go for ATV and rafting after checkout.

There are local supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for meals, and there's also a local market for beer and other drinks. The chicken place called Five Star next to the 7-Eleven was delicious.

The lobby has a friendly lady who doesn't speak English, but she's very helpful. There's also an electric kettle for boiling water.

We stayed in Patong and moved early on our checkout day. We went on a Similan tour, stayed in a BMP after the Similan tour, checked out of the BMP, went ATV and rafting, and now we're at JW Khao Lak! We'll be staying at JW for a few more days before heading back to Korea. It's a great itinerary! I recommend it!!

Secondly, the location of B.M.P Resort is exceptionally strategic for those heading to Khao Lak for liveaboard adventures departing from Taplamu Pier. Positioned midway between Phuket International Airport and the bustling Bang Niang Marketstreet, and near Taplamu Pier, it serves as an ideal base for tourists. This central location not only cuts down on travel time but also helps in managing travel expenses effectively, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious divers and sightseers alike.

In conclusion, B.M.P Resort offers a practical stay without the hefty price tag. Its strengths in late-night service availability and strategic positioning make it a commendable choice for those in transit or preparing for marine excursions out of Khao Lak. The resort effectively combines simplicity with functionality, providing all the essentials needed for a comfortable and convenient stay.

We spent 3 nights here. I really, really liked it. What I can highlight: a perfectly working air conditioner that maintains the temperature and does not blow longer than it should, I was with a child, for us this was important. Second: a well-functioning shower with a good heater. Third: super friendly staff. They helped us book a tour to the Similans; took us to the exchange office when I realized that I had run out of cash, I did not expect that, but they also cleaned our room and left drinking water every morning. Plus a beautiful and cozy hotel grounds and common areas. I highly recommend this place.
