Bangtao Mango House was comfortable, clean, and in a great location near many restaurants, the Muay Thai gym, and Bang Tao beach. Our host, Mr. Ou was incredibly welcoming, showing us around and helping us when needed. His warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home :)

My partner and I booked for a month the rooms are bigger then a thought the beds are a bit hard but we just went to the lotus and got little mattress toppers the outside area is really nice a cute cat hangs around , the host of this place was very lovely messaged if we wanted the room cleaned when he seen us always asked if we were okay

The rooms are spacious, but they are not 100% clean. My towels were dirty and the bed sheets as well. Additionally, the owner enters your room every day to check if the air conditioning is turned off and if all plugs are unplugged from the sockets. If not, he turns off the air conditioning and unplugs the sockets himself. He was in my room every day and even threw away my private belongings. When I confronted him about it, he told me to leave the room that very day. Despite having paid for the night, I asked him to let me stay as I couldn't find another room at that hour, but he didn't care and kicked me out. Moreover, he constantly lies, claiming he isn't the owner and that his supposed "boss" instructed him to evict me. When I asked to speak with his boss, he refused, saying the boss was busy. The man with the goatee seemed friendly at first, but after two hours, he lost all sympathy from me!
Overall, I do not recommend this accommodation unless you like the idea of someone entering your room every day to check if everything is turned off. I found it very unpleasant, especially since the room was not even cleaned!

One of the better 3 star hotels I have stayed at on phuket. Many positive features you will appreciate: recently renovated with modern sinks, marble showers, well-functioning a/c, private deck, mini-fridge. Very clean. The bed was quite firm but I slept well. Generally more quite here than most due to location. However, at the time of this review (December, 2023) there is a construction project at the adjoining property and loud construction noise during daytime. For you sound nerds, the construction noise results in the typical noise level of 40 decibles increasing to about 55 decibles. Estimate that construction may continue throughout January. Daily room cleaning and the typical 2 bottles of water allotment. Very friendly host. Close to most services and grocery stores. Good value. Downside might be the distance to the beautiful beach, about a 15 to 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There's a number of roosters living next door that rise early.

I stayed there for 5 days and was very satisfied. Good value for Phuket, large 2 rooms appartements with balcony (can get hot in the afternoon). The area is very quiet. Need to have a motorbike to get around and fully enjoy the area. The owner is very laid back and friendly.

Immaculately clean and serviced daily. Microwave, fridge and kettle, comfortable bed, large room. 15 min walk to beach or supermarket, bikes/motorbikes available to rent

Clean, nice with big bed room, kitchen. Air cond. . TV, fridge , safe box, like 4 stars hotel. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Friendly and helpfull staff, nearest beach at 2 minutes by scooter, silent place, close to marketand shops (3 minutes by scooter), close to scooter rental (4 minutes), big rooms, new and clean bathrooms. Recomended for long stay.
