Wonderful hotel! The location is very convenient, we found it quickly. Everything went quickly and smoothly at check-in. The room was clean, cleaning and towel change every day. Breakfast is tasty and varied

The scenery here is amazing, and the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are well-equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and other essentials, making it very convenient for a longer stay

Great hotel in Surin Beach area. The room decor was modern and spacious. I enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. Enjoy the good coffee and soft serve daily. The multiple pools and loungers were great

We didn’t use all the facilities, like the gym or the spa, but the pools a nice. Staff is very nice, always ready to help. we contracted the motorbike with their help

The pool area desperately needs refurbishing, with many broken tiles. Cleanliness was also an issue; we noticed dust on the TV and plates left outside rooms for long periods

We checked in after 10 PM, and the front desk staff was very welcoming, offering us a welcome drink. The check-in process was smooth. The breakfast was also excellent; it changed daily during our 6-day stay

5 minutes walking to the beach and worth it for the beautiful Surin Beach. 3 minutes walking to 7-11 and Massages centres. In front of hotel have taxi station. Can use Grab or Bolt if you want

Since our child was small, their breakfast was included at no extra charge. The main advantage is that the hotel is very conveniently located near the beach and the environment is quiet

We stayed in a suite, and the air conditioning in the bedroom was too noisy, so we turned it off while sleeping and used the living room's AC instead

For the price point, location, and amenities we were extremely satisfied with this hotel. The room was large with a nice sofa bed. There are 6 different pools that our young kids had fun playing in

Had a wonderful stay at Sunwing Bangtao. We have a 2 year old toddler and it was the best decision to book our stay here. With 3 4 pools and super beach access it was simply wonderful

There is a largish water slide that is fun and a small little kids slide that is good for toddlers. The beach is steps from the pools with free beach toys available to play with

There's a kids club with activities that we didn't participate in but looked fun. Great hotel, location, and pools!

Lovely family resort with several pools so there are options to go to when the main pool get more crowded

There are also a TOPS minimart and a few nice restaurants just outside the resort. Nana Massage is also a short 5 mins walk away. Overall, we had a fun n relaxing time at the resort

We were given a free room upgrade (the BEST surprise)! Everyday we talk about how incredible this resort is. We actually cancelled our next accommodation and extended our stay here instead

However, the location is 45 minutes from Arab street. Good breakfast with Halal food. More focus on cleaning is needed. The king bed size is smaller than any other hotels I have booked earlier

This was disappointing, considering the price point and otherwise nice setting. Over the few days we stayed, there was issues with hot water and the lighting as well, but the staff was readily available to help us fix it

There are a few dining options around the area, but we found ourselves traveling a little further out for more variety. We stayed in a 3-bedroom unit, which was fairly decent in terms of space and facilities

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The villa was very spacious and impeccably clean. They also provide a wide range of amenities, so even if you forget something, it’s not an issue

It can be a bit inconvenient having to take a buggy to get to the lobby each time, but considering everything the hotel offers, it felt like a reasonable trade-off

All of the staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. Tip: The hotel gets quite busy from Friday to Sunday, so if you prefer a quieter experience, staying during the weekdays is a better choice

Is the best vacation ever!! I have the best time to relax and stay there. Also the have the bike you can use them 24/7 also the hotel is next to the beach you always can go any time. Also not far from the airport

The room we had was clean and comfortable. The location is nice and we rented a scooter. You can get to Bang Tao beach easily and a little drive to Surin beach. Nice pool! Nice kitchen in our room if you want to cook

10 mins of walk to sea or around 15-20 mins to Porto de phuket. Stable wifi, TV with YouTube and Google services, kitchen is ok as well. Cleaning is pretty well, landuary for 90 per 1kg

Construction site next door can be noisy in the mornings but I think this is reflected in the price being so low. Paid £150 for 7 nights here and it was very much money well spent

Bit far away from the main attractions in Phuket but if you’re up for a nice 30-40 minute bike ride it’s perfect

The breakfast was decent, offering omelets, fried eggs, noodles, salads, fruits, and more. The only drawback was that the breakfast room itself lacked a view and windows, which felt a bit out of place for such a hotel

One pool is missing, the rooftop pool is dirty, laundry is advertised as same day if before 10am. Only to be recieved the following day around 6pm. The view from the rooms is an absolute stunning view

My husband and I stayed for two nights in February 2026. We were on the 4th floor and had a magnificent view and a superb location. The rooms felt fresh, clearly recently renovated. Everything was very tidy and clean

Overall, the hotel left us with the best impressions. We rented a motorbike right next to the hotel at a cheaper price than we paid in Bang Tao. We zipped off to 7/11 for snacks; it was about a 10-minute walk

Stayed here back in 2017 and we still talk about how good it was, the rooms, the pools, the food, the service. It was all amazing and we wouldnt have had such a good holiday without staying here

Just a short stroll from the beautiful beach. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment with a plunge pool and lived every minute of it. The hotel has a huge pool that my children enjoyed using in addition to the plunge pool

We had a pillow menu available too. The resort is compact without feeling crowded and the central pool helps give the place a feeling of calm. My wife enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool to do her daily laps

This place is amazing! We arrived late at night and were greeted with welcoming staff, cold towels, cold drinks and home baked cookies. Our room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable

You need a room key to keep AC working. The breakfast is really nice and tasty. Cofee tea juice eggs and sausage sandwich or waffles for choice, fruits and pastry will be served to you one serving per person

Room is clean and tidy , hot water, mini fridge. Wifi is good You can hear neighbors a little at night but it's ok. Location 3 minutes walk from the beach really nice location restaurants and 7/11 is nearby

Just a walks away from Bangtao Muay Thai and many restaurants, a 7/11 and the beach! The staff are super friendly and attentive - they were amazing with me and made sure my stay was super comfortable

There are many nice restaurants nearby, def can recommend the nearest Indian place. 7-11 was just 5 min walk from the room. I’ve enjoyed the hammock chair by the room Hope to be back here soon!

Breakfasts are delicious, prepared specifically for each guest from the menu. A large fruit platter is included. The bedroom is separate, and the living room has a large sofa and a kitchen

We had a very relaxed vacation, very nice pool direct access from our room, excellent breakfast, very helpful services in getting us transport for various sightseeing places, close to Bangtao beach and market, humble staff and very responsive

Stayed for edc thailand . Only around 20min drive to the venue even with traffic. Nice pool with big room. But the room was a bit stuffy but Aircon was strong.

This hotel is definitely worth staying at if the price is under 1000. The beach across the street is uncrowded; you can spend all day relaxing under the trees there with the hotel's beach towels

You will have to cross a road and walk on a path that cuts through an area that is currently undergoing construction. Did not feel the beach vibe here

The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and has a great resort vibe. The private pool in the room is very clean, and the public pool is cleaned by staff early every morning. The Loft room is also very comfortable

I visited bangtao for training. Location is good for visit the bangtao muaytai&mma gym. Swimming pool is smaller than I expected. Representative picture about swimming pool tried to look bigger than real size

Great clean place in ideal location amongst shops and across the road from beach busy area I found the bed a little hard for my back but they didn't have a mattress topper,but the staff put another quilt underneath which helped

The location is right at the beach and conveniently close to everything you may want on a holiday. The pool is also very nice with a small pool for the little ones

Comfy and clean with a small swimming pool and just 100m from the beach! Unfortunately the area is relatively dead compared to the other beaches in Phuket, and it's hard to get around without expensive Grabs/Bolts or tuktuks

You cannot put tissue in the toilet, the shower holder didn't work in either room, but other than that, it was lovely! Fantastic location if you want a quiet almost private beach, 7 eleven basically next door, massage and restaurants basically next door also

On arrival at The Pavilions, we were warmly welcomed by Louise. She was generous with her time, and the personal touch was much appreciated

We stayed at the Ocean view villa. Huge pool area with nice sea views and sun sets. Free espresso, water, tea and plenty of amenities. We booked directly with them so we had some nice perks included

The only problems were that the air con was too cold, the light switches were a bit hard to navigate sometimes, and that we had two twin beds, but plenty of space for bigger beds which wouldve been more comfortable

Perched on a quiet hillside overlooking the Andaman Sea, the resort provides a peaceful retreat away from the busier parts of Phuket while remaining just a short drive from beaches, shopping, and local dining

This resort is like a little slice of peace and paradise hidden away in Phuket. Our room was basically a 2 person flat with a fantastic bath, super cozy couch (perfect for a movie night) and tons of space

There's a dedicated shuttle service to the beach and commercial areas, which is very convenient. The restaurants nearby are also great!

Gym is usable and clean, with a shower and changing room. We were the last batch of hotel guest as they're closed from 1st March 2026 for upgrading. Perhaps they'll improve some of the issue mentioned here once reopen

The hotel is about half an hour from the airport, which makes getting to the airport much less stressful compared to staying in Patong or Karon

However, location is near to town, walkable and there's complimentary shuttle tuk tuk provided at certain hours. Beach is not really walkable, a little far by foot but shuttle will take you there

Flying insects and ants on pillow every night, wonder where it came in from. Water stains and not clean washroom. AC no dehumidifying function, just blower, not helping the humidity issue

Breakfast area not so spacious, Thai food ok. View from rooftop mediocre, can't really see the sea or beach from here, only a construction site next door and the luxury resorts next door

The pool was terrible, and the children's section was dangerous. They cleaned every day, but it was purely a formality. This is my fifth time in Phuket, and this is the worst hotel by far

There's a strange door in the room covered by something resembling a sofa. The safe had a dead battery, so it didn't work. As a bonus, there was construction outside our window, but it wasn't too noisy, which was fine

The walk from the beach to the hotel is uphill and definitely not a 5-minute stroll. The hotel needs a complete overhaul. Everything, including the staff, is run-down. Additionally, the restaurants are a rip-off

They can't cook anything that isn't Thai, but they still charge a lot. This is the first time I've had such a dreadful impression. The beach is excellent, and prices are reasonable

Although rooms were higher up on the hill from the beach, the view is spectacular. The rooms were clean and service for housekeeping were quick and efficient. The beach felt so private and quiet

I also would have liked to have had complimentary yoga and meditation classes, as I expected to be able to practice these regularly during my stay, especially at my preferred resort

The hotel itself has everything you need so you could decide to never leave 😂 the rooms / villas are very private giving you lots of intimacy and they were so spacious even for the most basic one! The breakfast buffet and food more generally was outstanding - lots of offerings for everyone The pool is great and big enough but the best part is the private beach! The water is pristine and so calming...

Drinks were well made (at the wedding and also poolside bar). The breakfast had many options, definitely 5star worthy. It was intimidating to see the stairs to the rooms at first but after a few days, you get used to it

Final Verdict If you want a resort that respects its surroundings and offers a truly high-end, polished experience, stay here. Just maybe head out into town if you're craving a truly spicy, authentic green curry
