Island View Resort & Spa in Chang Island

Yes it is very quiet, but this was the reason for us to go there.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The view into the bay was stunning and after 9 p.m. there where only calming jungle noises to hear.
Scooters were available for fair prices.
You can explore the whole eastern part of the island (long beach, mangrove forrest, beautiful villages) or just do a private boat trip visiting the sorounding islands (our choice via fisherman's hut but there are many other options as well).
You also can spend a lazy day at the pool and have a snack next door at Aoys bakery which is a super cute and small restaurant. (very recomended)
There are a few restaurants close by, but be careful they close early.
We loved our stay far away from the busy western part of the island.
Hopefully we are going to be back soon :)

Absolutely amazing place and people. The appartement are wonderful, the view incredible. The manager girl was super nice and warmly taking care: Laundry, taxi, motorbike...and always smiling. Also the best location to enjoy seafood . Thank you kap for this 2 incredible days at your place

We loved our stay here. If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bussle it is perfect. Manau is the perfect host, she went out of her way to make our stay great, even organizing a wonderful last minute boat trip for us. Our room was very clean and with the mattress topper the bed was one of the more comfortable ones we had in our travels. There is a short walk to the resort from the car park area and up the hill to the pool and hilltop villas, but so worth it. The restaurant was closed during our stay but there is a fabulous seafood restaurant nearby that had fish so fresh they were swimming in nets under the pier. And there is great coffee next door at a very cute cafe. We did have a car and loved exploring the local area. Can't recommend enough, truly loved this place, the staff and it's manager. Will definitely be back.

Overall a good stay here. Excellent location , right on the water. Pool up on the hill side to use as well. There were just a few inconsistencies such as my room dìdnt have artwork on the wall whereas the room next to me did (tiny issue). The staff were not really on hand/particularly responsive , but overall not a big deal. Kayaks to rent for free. If you want total peace then for sure come here!

Comfy, clean and nice hotel with fantastic views, swimming pool and friendly owners! It is far away from tourist places so you get peace and quit here. You can use the kayak for free or rent a scooter to visit the other side. We enjoyed our time here!
The taxi ofc costs a bit much to get here but returning we asked the hotel near the parking lot and they rent us their driver with much cheaper price, so definitely use that opportunity.

It's a great location, at least for me on the east side, which is very non touristy. The house keeper & her husband were great they didn't speak much English & I don't speak any Cambodian. But we were able to communicate. Being out on the water was awesome. I'll be back for sure.

Stayed the 1st night up the hill in a big room. Everything good but no Wi-Fi all the way up. Owner changed me to a room on the water. Smaller but great feeling and views. Both rooms where clean and the bed comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice coffee place 2 minutes further down the path. I had a really good time at the place and would recommend it to a friend. Keep in mind: it is far from anything and you best have your own transportation.

Loved this place. It’s run by a really welcoming, friendly family.
Gorgeous spot on the water. They have kayaks you can use to paddle to the nearby islands.
I look forward to coming back.
