Jungle Garden in Chang Island

Spent almost three weeks here. It's perfect in its class, if you are looking for a simple and affordable bungalow. Everything is as advertised.

Also the staff and the restaurant are exceptional, the food is really good and well priced. Haven't met a nicer staff anywhere, the waitress Nene is always beaming with a smile!

Nice place to stay, rest and relax.
Jungle Garden on Koh Chang offers rooms in different price categories, so there is something suitable for every budget. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The restaurant is excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Thailand.

I absolutely loved my time at Jungle Garden. The place is well landscaped and feels like a cozy tropical garden, it's because of that I had always wanted to stay there, I love those feels.

The good: Lovely tropical garden feel. Great water pressure. Very friendly staff. I stayed there for two weeks and never got anything other than kindness and smiles from the staff. The restaurant. Oh my God the restaurant. The food is amazing. The Khao Soi might be the best I've ever had and I've had it a hundred times up in Chiang Mai. Fairly quiet, Bailan is a quiet island village, I was never kept awake by music or partiers or anything like that. While I ended up renting a PCX motorbike from Ning down the street, Jungle Garden had nice looking Honda Clicks for rent at a good price. Comfy bed, great water pressure. But let's go back to the restaurant...seriously....it was so good. Omg THE DOGS! The sweet friendly dogs that made every day a happy one. I was greeted by the friendly dogs the moment I walked onto the property. I love them so much. They brought me so many smiles every day.

The Bad: Very little to say. While the bed was comfy, the pillows weren't the best I've had, but not the worst either. When we arrived, we noticed the AC barely worked, hardly any air came out of it. So, I checked the filters on the AC unit and they were completely clogged. I've never seen an AC filter that clogged before, as if it hasn't been cleaned in months and months. Once I cleaned them off in the shower, the AC unit worked really well. This place would save a lot of money on electricity costs if they cleaned the AC filters more often.

All in all, a great value for money spent, amazing restaurant, DOGS, and a very friendly staff

Don't know about the rooms because we weren't staying here, but the food! Found both of our favorite dishes. Khao SOI and Massaman. Did not disappoint! I can't believe that they sell Cannabis next door. I can't imagine how deadly good the food would be with the munchies! Genius!🤣

Much spicy maybe the chilies this season r extra spicy. But delicious food :) no rush

Nicely located at Bailan. restaurant opens early for breakfast. Lots of choice. Friendly atmosphere surrounded in nature.

Strong cocktails, no joke here. Best Piña colada, no very sweet

I loved the style of the resort and the garden. Bungalows are comfortable and there is everything you need. The lovely couple who run the business is always available and very kind and helpful. You can rent motorbike there which is very convenient! Definitely recommended!

Quiet place in a beautiful garden. Very quiet at night with the noise of jungle, but just 1 km away from the bars at lonely beach. The german owner Peter and his family are very helpful and trustworthy. Modern clean and comfortable bungalows with large bathroom for a fair price. Go there when you need times to relax and when you don't have to stay at the beach.
