Alina Grande Hotel and Resort in Chang Island

Staff are friendly and helpful. Inside are a little shop where someone can buy a few beverages and prices are competitive. Inside the building is it quite. Rooms are not modern but comfy and spacious with a nice fridge. Our room have a flat screen tv, but the audio are not good and channels are not interesting. The clean room have a nice wardrobe and nice balcony like the others, but the wooden glass doors have a huge gap where mosquitoes enter. Have mosquito repellent for this mosquito intruders. Balcony have a nice table and two chairs and a laundry rack. Bath room are clean and nice. Big clean swimming pool at the back and a little Restuarant where we ate English breakfast for R120 and dinner as well. The are very convenient and no need to look for a place to eat. This hotel gives good value for the money and I make use of this hotel again. Location are good and a little alley to White Sand Beach are just across the street. 7 eleven are close as well.

This hotel was apparently built a long time ago and has larger rooms. It's old, but they're actively renovating it. It feels like it's family-run. It has a very comfortable, homey atmosphere. It's quiet and cozy. The sea is across the road. The best beach 🏖️ on the island. With white sand. A large, deep pool. Clean. Pleasant breakfasts made to order. Everything you need is nearby. It's close to the pier if you drive. Everything else is much further. But you definitely need a car to get to the island. The road changes and winds are impressive. And the road itself is perfect. The hotel is by the road, not next to the forest, so monkeys come but can't climb to the second floor. Insects are also rare. Views of the mountains and the sea. But this is not a luxury hotel. It's a clean, cozy, comfortable 2-star hotel. Old, but clean. The cleaning is perfect, the beds are clean and fresh. We spent 4 nights in 2 rooms with a large family, and it was okay.

Very good stay, pleasant swimming pool, rustic but friendly staff and really close to the beach. I recommend the hotel for its excellent value for money!

We've been staying at Alina for two years in a row. The hotel itself is simple, but the price, location, and excellent pool make it worthwhile. Breakfast is available for a reasonable fee. There's a ping-pong table by the pool.

Nice hotel near the beach

Hello everyone! I highly recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, close to everything you need: shops, bars, and cafes. The beach is across the street, where we swam with the kids, and everything was perfect! The hotel is quiet, clean, and odor-free! Cleaning is on request. We didn't include breakfast, so I can't say anything about it! The bed linens and towels were new! We loved everything about it!

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. It was a great value for the money! It's older, but everything works. The beds are comfortable. There's a small shop right on the premises. The hosts are friendly. The breakfast is basic, but considering the price per night, it's fine. There's a market and large stores nearby, and the beach is just across the street. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Great location. The sea is across the road, 1 minute walk max. The beach is the best on the island. There is a night market and macro nearby, big s and seven are also within walking distance. If we return to the island, we will definitely come here!

This was one of the best stay for me across my Thailand trip. The building is old but they have good service. Library, store inside, restaurant and pool. Just next to Muay Thai boxing and you can watch from balcony too. I loved the food there in the restaurant. Instead of outside shops you could eat here. It’s more yummy and cheaper.

Had a good 1 week stay here. Rooms good, and everything needed available on site. Bike rent, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, mini convenience shop and laundry service all available. Only problem is the bar next door. Very loud music every night. We barely got any sleep and had to take naps during the day to make up for it.
