I happened to be in the area on business, so I stayed at this hotel. The rooms are a bit old, but spacious, clean, and suitable for the price.

The room was clean and the service was good. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation.

The room was a little smelly. The bathroom was dirty. They didn't even lend out hairdryers, which was a problem. However, the staff were very friendly.

Booked through the app. The price is not worth the quality of the room. I feel that the room is old. The carpet looks like it has stains all over it, I don't know what it is, it doesn't look very clean. I'm afraid the air conditioner will break, but it works normally, it's very cold. They only allow check-ins after 2 PM. I arrived at 11 AM and had to wait until 2 PM. Also, the air conditioner is incredibly loud; I had to turn it off every night to sleep. Other than that, everything was fine.

There is construction going on next door, so it's very noisy during the day. The rooms are clean and spacious except for the couch which is dirty. Service is excellent, with daily room cleaning offered and a free shuttle service within 2 km. The location is not close to anything walkable or the transit system. Fair for the price point.

This hotel serves both as a daily accommodation and a long-term residence. It's conveniently located not far from Onnut main road. The rooms are clean, and the prices are affordable. The reception staff speaks English, and the parking guy is very helpful.

Perfect location! By the river, infront of grand palace and across Wat Arun. The rooftop at dawn to night or sunrise is the best spot! The mattress though is a bit hard with plastic can hear and feel everytime i move i think because its new. Power Outlet is not universal bring an adaptor if your not from thailand.

Great hostel, very clean, and super close to the Grand Palace. You can even get a good view of Wat Arun right from the entrance.

This is a pretty standard hostel. I was lucky that my roommates weren't noisy at all, but they don't provide disposable toiletries. Its competitive edge is definitely its location; it's a must-stay if you want to photograph Wat Arun and the Chao Phraya River at night.

I was looking for a place closer to the metro train station that connects to the airport on my last day in Bangkok. Vestel Aree is just walking distance from the station. The ambience is nice, the bed and washrooms were clean. The bed came with an attached locker to store bags and valuables. The rooms were cramped and one of the bathrooms as well. Also, I didn't like the locker system- you have to rent a locker and they give you a key. Getting this hotel for less than 209 during New Year's Eve was a pretty good deal. There are 7-Elevens everywhere nearby. Although the environment and service were just so-so, it was incredibly difficult to find a last-minute hotel.

The owner was super helpful! There's no elevator, but it's still totally fine. It's so close to 7-Eleven, and the neighborhood isn't noisy at all. You can even walk to Chatuchak, and the 7-Eleven and the Green Line stop are in the same spot. It's only half an hour from Don Mueang Airport, so it's really convenient for getting around. If you want to take the Blue Line, you can catch it near Chatuchak

The location was good but just had to wait a little bit for check in because of a time misunderstanding so you would like to arrive before 9pm. Plenty of room, big bed not so soft but it was big enough.

My stay here at Castle Black Bangkok is the BEST! I stayed for 6 nights. Room is very clean. It feels like home. Area is quiet and near to malls. 5 stars rating is well deserved.

Cheap Hotel. Pretty Good Location and I reccoment the rooms to the backside of the Hotel. They are much more quiet.

Fast Internet, clean room. TV signal not clear, location far from any good restaurants. Resto downstairs had old chicken meat in food, never again, not a problem of the hotel though. When I asked the hotel staff to restock the fridge, they tried to bill me overpriced drinks which beforehand. That was disturbing.
