If you’re looking for the perfect base to explore Bangkok, look no further than the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 18. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, every single detail was handled with warmth and professionalism.
The room was amazing — spacious, spotlessly clean, and offering stunning city views. Everything you need is right there, and the comfort level is well above what you’d expect.
The location is simply perfect. Sitting in the heart of Sukhumvit, you’re a short walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit, with Terminal 21, EmQuartier, and Emsphere just minutes away — ideal for both exploring and shopping.
But the real star of our stay was the staff. Special mention goes to Din, who went completely above and beyond: he personally recommended the best restaurant in the area and took us there by Tuk-Tuk — a moment that turned a dinner into a memory. The check-in and check-out team were equally attentive, kind, and ready to help with every request without hesitation.
This is the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a guest, not just a room number. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommended!

The Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok gets a perfect score from me! It's right in the heart of Sukhumvit, just a short walk to both BTS Asok and the MRT station, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bedding is wonderfully soft and comfortable. Daily housekeeping is meticulous and thorough. The staff are warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive – truly heartwarming service. The pool on the fourth floor has a fantastic vibe, and the rooftop bar offers stunning panoramic views of Bangkok's dazzling nightscape. Breakfast is diverse, with a great selection of both Thai and Western dishes. With excellent facilities and outstanding value for money, it's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure vacations. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Bangkok!

It's comparable to a four-star hotel in China. The room facilities are clean and tidy, and the shower area in the bathroom is also clean, which is perfectly adequate for a regular trip. There are local restaurants and massage parlors right outside, and a metro station just a five-minute walk away, making transportation relatively convenient.

We are a large group of friends and we come to this hotel every year for our annual football gathering. The hotel is big but not chaotic or crowded, the pool area is well kept and next to a bar and a restaurant. The breakfast is very good with lots of options. Very recommended

The breakfast was decent, with some Thai characteristics, and the service was okay. The air conditioning in the room was a bit too cold, and I'd wake up in the middle of the night feeling frozen. There were no slippers or toiletries in the room, so I had to go out and buy them myself.

On a business trip, I just checked in and the photos I took make it feel like I've stepped into a museum. There's a really big pool, which is a shame because I can't swim. It's quite convenient to get around, and Terminal 21 shopping mall is nearby.

Rooms (not the ones renovated) are showing age. Great staff. Good breakfast buffet but same every morning. Two points I didn’t like. Water temperature in shower keeps changing. It gets hot all of a sudden and you can burn yourself. Beware ! Air conditioning is hard to adjust. If ON, very efficient but it gets too cold, even when set at 30c.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, my last visit was three years ago. Both the lobby and the rooms have been renovated, and the price has gone up from around 300 to over 400 now. However, as an established five-star hotel, I still think the overall service, facilities, and breakfast are quite good and justify the price. The only interesting thing is the room layout, haha – it’s not a perfectly square shape, which might be a characteristic of many older five-star hotels. But the view from my room window was decent, and the hotel is generally clean. Although the facilities are a bit dated, it’s absolutely fine for someone like me who isn't picky; I'm quite used to this classic style.
