Reviews
A special thank you to Nemo, Mat, and Jenny from the GSA team, and Toi and Tam from Bell services. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.
To my surprise, they even upgraded our room complimentary, which made the experience even better. On top of that, they arranged a 20% discount at the hotel bar, which was a lovely gesture and really appreciated.
It’s rare to find staff who go out of their way to make guests feel valued, but this team truly does. Their hospitality, professionalism, and warm attitude made the stay memorable.
Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying around Sukhumvit Soi 11. The service alone makes it worth it. 👏✨
The restaurant staff provide excellent service.
There is a restaurant on the 18th floor with very good service, open until 4 a.m.
Overall, everything is fine. Parking can be a bit inconvenient, but parking space is available.
However, the front desk staff during the night shift seem to lack proper training. Their manner of speaking felt disrespectful and made me feel uncomfortable, as if customers were being looked down upon.
The daytime security staff do their job well and are acceptable, but the night shift security staff do not seem very welcoming, which made me feel uneasy.
I stayed here for seven days, which is not a small amount of money. I did not feel good about this experience. I expected better hospitality. Since I chose to stay at your hotel, I naturally expected good service.
Some housekeeping staff are very kind, but some appear to lack proper training. This hotel is a well-known brand with standards, yet I feel there is a lack of sufficient staff training. I hope these issues will be improved.
I give three stars for the overall service.
The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout my stay.
I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, which has a great atmosphere in the evenings. The gym, pool, bar, and restaurant on Level 7 were also a highlight — a really nice place to unwind and enjoy a drink or meal without having to leave the hotel.
Overall, the facilities, location, and service made this a fantastic stay and excellent value. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
- Pricey
The checkin staff are very welcoming and helpful. We got good rooms on the 12th floor since it was ready before the 14th floor rooms which were initially allocated to us.
They have a travel desk in the foyer and they are very felixible in their booking and well priced. We booked a trip for the 3 of us to Kanchanburi & had to postpone it which they were willing to accommodate without any grumble. We also booked a taxi for 10hrs to see around Bangkok and cost us 3000 bahts.
The car was big & roomy and the driver was a lovely guy who spoke good English.
The breakfast was just OK not much choice and very limited. The choice of eggs has to be ordered and will be brought to your table.
Family and lots of middle eastern people seem to favour this place as well as from the West.
There are lots of Indian restaurants on this Lane but not frequented by anyone.
There is a lovely but very pricey restaurant called Zanzibar which serves absolutely delicious food but at a cost. Ambience is fantastic seated under candle light in a garden atmosphere with live music and band.
There is a small swimming pool on the level of the breakfast area so there is not much of privacy.
Overall it is a good hotel but for £705 for 2 rooms for 5 days in a capital city it is good value. There is a safe, mini bar, TV, coffe-tea making & few toiletries are provided. Room was rather small and the shower was cramped; unable to use the rain shower unless one wished to wet their hair daily. So only a hand shower could be used in the walkin shower area.
The sky train is very close to the hotel and is 2-3 mins walk to the main road.
Going to MBK mall for 40 bahts to & fro is good value. To Siam centre too.
Platinum Mall is by tuk-tuk & though reception staff later on told us they would pay 60 bahts ; we as tourists were charged one way 150 bahts. Look out for scamsters in tuk-tuk guys who will take you to so-called gem wholesalers and then not be willing to drop you at your destination.
I would prefer a less crowded and cleaner by- lane area in my future booking for Bangkok hotel. This hotel has hardly any frontage though the bell boys and concierge were very good. There is a 7 eleven closeby.
The travel desk agents are not well informed about the free transfer from one airport to another in Bangkok. We had to find that out via Internet ; which by the way works well.
Due to the poor area I have given this hotel 3* & the limited breakfast choice.
