Tinidee Trendy Bangkok Khaosan in Bangkok

First night i was in a front facing room when I had requested a quiet room. No sleep at all eventhough the room was high floor. Nothing escapes the drums of the band opposite.
After complaining I was relocated but had to wait for the room to be ready meaning I once again was told id have to take my cases and sit downstairs to wait, having waited when I arrived on the first day. I spoke to a manager and this was changed to waiting in my noisy room and a bee room was found within 30 minutes.
I missed breakfast the first morning on account of not getting to sleep until 4.30am when the drumming finally stopped. Was determined not to miss it on day 2. However, the offering was one of the worst breakfasts I've had in my 20 years of travelling 6x a year. Lack of choice, no egg station, dry food and mostly continental. Limited food also as the staff were ow to replenish stocks of sausage and the fried eggs on offer. Juice and tea was fine.
Plus point was the bed as it was exceptionally comfortable.
Having previously stayed at this hotel pre-covid this time it felt unloved and like a hotel profit orientated. Disappointed and won't be returning.

The experience of staying in this hotel is quite disappointing

We booked the hotel before reading people’s comments about here. But the truth is a bit different from what we’ve read.

1. We got to the hotel pretty late, the staff who was helping us check in treated us rude. She even rolled her eyes when we said the wrong name for the room reservation. Her name started with Wanz.. I think ,don’t remember her full name.

2. You are not allowed to bring any drinks and food to the pool, if you don’t get it from the hotel bar. Even a cup of drink from 711. 😑 and the coffee we ordered from the hotel cafe was not cheap but with very low quality.

3. There’s no balcony in the hotel room, I knew this when I booked it. But when I got there, I felt it’s so inconvenient. And there’s only one tiny unopened window in the room, which make the room even darker.

4. The hotel in right in the central area of kao Shan road. There are lots bars and restaurants nearby, it was pretty loud at night, and we couldn’t sleep till 3,4 am. If you want to stay in Bangkok peacefully, I don’t suggest you stay here.
