Very beautiful hotel. It's good for both location. Where you can walk to the Grand Palace, Sleeping Buddha, go with ferry to Wat Arun, etc. It's in a walking distance to Chinatown and local amenities. Clean, and cheaper. Has a pool on the 12th floor.

The hotel is old, rooms are dirty and dark, towels are 100 years old, it is not worth money I paid (during new year holidays it was high)

Great value hotel in a great location. Really easy to get around to all parts of Bangkok and beyond.
Breakfast was great and the variety was excellent.
One thing to note is that the sunloungers by the pool are metal with no cushions and can be very uncomfortable after a while.
That said we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the big mango!

The hotel boasts an excellent location; it's right across the street from the Hua Lamphong MRT (Blue Line) exit. The old Bangkok railway station is just across the intersection, and there are several 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby.
However, the room facilities are outdated, and the hygiene was quite poor – there were even unwashed bloodstains on the sheets.
It seemed our room hadn't been fully cleaned, as there was no bottled water or shampoo provided.
The breakfast variety was decent, but the taste was very mediocre, and several of the cold juices had a strange flavor.
Overall, for the price in Bangkok, it's still a relatively good deal. After booking, you might want to keep an eye on the price trends; if you find a cheaper rate, you can cancel your original booking for free and re-book.

The hotel is conveniently located near the metro. Despite the windows facing the street, the room is quiet at night. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean. Everything you need is provided (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair dryer, shower gel, hand gel, slippers, drinks in the fridge, tea, coffee, kettle, safe, smart TV). The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of dishes and sauces for every taste, and lots of sweets. We didn't use the pool, but it looks very clean. The view from the top is great. The staff is friendly.

I went there for a business trip. Nice location easy to get to MRT and explore China Town. Staff was lovely but inside the room is a bit vintage for me.

The room was even more spacious than I expected, the views were absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the omlette. 10/10 would come baxk again.

Absolutely dreamy place, feels like setting foot into a grungy Renaissance era midway between museum and your usual 5 stars hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was great. The area is bustling with trendy bars voted best of Bangkok. Highly recommended

It’s a very unique boutique hotel in a 100-year old building near China town, filled with characters and old charm. Khun Joy, the owner passionately told us about the history of this building, and her hard work & strong will that turns it into this unique gems. I also love the skylight.

A perfect place to slow down, soak in the artistic atmosphere, and enjoy a truly elegant experience. Highly recommended!

Completely over rated in my opinion. Feedback : Poor aircon. Insects. Noisy. Limited average food. Photo of old walls ?? Old floor?? Haha. Pictures are also not dramatic. See awesome historical hotels in China, Penang, Singapore and Bandung. Far more meaning and architectural value 😂😂😂

The decor and atmosphere in this hotel is amazing. The staff, food and cocktails were also great. The treason for the 3 stars instead of five is that we were moved to another room due to some electrical issues which was fine however the room was very bright due to no curtains or shutters in the shower which is right next to the bed. We also purchased the largest room for our friend’s birthday (4 days after we stayed) only to hear that they were also downgraded to a standard room due to “electrical issues”. Very disappointing that the rooms we booked were denied on both occasions with the same poor excuse. If we had been informed of this we would never have booked.
