Walking Street Residence in Chiang Mai City

I spent two nights at this hotel, located just a few meters from Chiang Mai's most interesting temple (in my opinion) (Wat Chedi Luang). It's a bit further for those who prefer nightlife: it's about 1 km from Tha Phae Gate, from where, another 400-500 meters, you can reach the Night Bazaar. It's also very close to an "authentic" Italian restaurant (exit and turn left), run by a fellow Italian. The room is simple but has everything you need for a short stay, including a kettle and Nescafe sachets, with two bottles of drinking water provided daily. The bathroom is standard, although the showerhead has an unusual spray pattern, made up of tiny holes that make it a bit harsh when the water is turned on at maximum pressure. There's a small room on the ground floor where you can enjoy a simple, self-service breakfast (slices of bread and a toaster, butter and two low-quality jams, some pre-packaged fruit juices, coffee, sugar/powdered milk, and a kettle). Recommended only for short stays and those on a budget.
