Having stayed here a few times, I would rate it a 3 star versus 4. The rooftop pool area is nice with full menu and drink and towel service. It is adjacent to a brewery which they also own and a good restaurant they own is just across the street, so if you order room service - it actually will be coming from a very good restaurant. It is next doo to a grocery store, small night market/bizarre, and the beach is a block away.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Intimate Hotel Pattaya.
I recently stayed at Intimate Hotel by Tim Boutique, and what happened during checkout was completely unacceptable. While we were waiting for our car, the staff suddenly claimed that one of the pillows in our room had color dye damage. This came as a shock because the pillow was perfectly fine when we checked out. It felt like a mysterious damage charge created just to extract money.
The worst part was the threatening behaviour from the reception staff. They told us “We will send your car back” unless we paid for the so-called “damaged” pillow. This was extremely unprofessional, intimidating, and ruined the entire stay.
What should have been a simple checkout turned into a stressful and unpleasant confrontation.
I strongly advise future guests to check everything carefully and be prepared for unexpected charges. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel is situated just in like a cul de sac off 2nd road. There are good amenities very close. Bars, cafés, restaurants, 7/11's. I found it to be noisy though in the early morning onwards.. it's breakfast the wife said was ok. The pool is good. The gym has something to be desired. The price was a little higher than others in the area with same standard. I'd suggest looking before committing..

Aside from the fact that coffee and tea aren't free and have to be paid for in the room, it's a great hotel, I like it. Just be aware that smoking isn't allowed in the rooms or on the balcony. I was also informed immediately that visitors must be 20 or older, without even asking 😳 I'll update this review after a longer stay.
Update: WiFi is just no available, one level max. two level maximum.. very terrible service
Fitness is a joke, sorry intimate, but it’s so easy to change that.
Both things are for someone else important, especially if you make advertising with.

We just spent 4 nights at Intimate Hotel Pattaya and had an absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel was tidy and clean, with great service and 24-hour reception. We really appreciated the undercover parking for our rental scooter — super convenient!
The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent — a great selection with food topped up regularly. Special mention to the cook making eggs any way you like — perfect every time! The dining area was bright and welcoming, a great way to start the day.
A real highlight was the amazing bartender at the pool bar — friendly, talented, and made some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had! The swim-up bar and happy hour were such a fun bonus.
The only small disappointment was that the Jacuzzi suite we booked wasn’t quite as updated as the photos online, but it didn’t hinder our experience at all. We still really enjoyed it and would absolutely come back again.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so memorable!

The last time I stayed at Intimate they wer3 renovating. This time the rooms are a bit sad and they need to renovate again. On saying this they suggested moving me to a higher floor which they thought was better. But failed to put me there to start with. Problems. The shower ros3 is fixed and useless. Tiles in the room are loose and move when you tread on them. Lighting is badly designed. Door is loose and rattles. Sound proofing between rooms is non existent. Only one toothbrush no comb. They charge for tea and coffee in the room and provide only sugared. I could go on with the defects. One good thing is the pool and the excellent service

I would say 3.5 stars. Lobby is not air conditioned, rooms are a little tired, with some lights not working, moldy shower, poor drains and breakfast that doesn't get going until 30 minutes after opening. Maid service is good. Staying on the north side of the hotel will expose you to a loud music bar just below your balcony until 4AM every day.

Nice and polite staff, but he did not wear a mask while brewing coffee. Even I was entering to the store he went to the coffee bar to take my order without having his mask on before performing the service. Noted that the staff needs to be concerned more situation awareness especially for the current Covid19 Pandemic Prevention for himself and others.
Moreover, I chose to pay via "คนละครึ่ง", but he told me that ถุงเงิน's phone of the shop is with another staff and that staff was not here. OMG!!! (Please, noted that you can log-in ถุงเงิน applications for your shop at maximum of "4" devices.)
For the coffee, it is Dark Roasted Coffee Bean which is good for mass taste of many people in normal.
Moreover, I chose to pay via "คนละครึ่ง", but he told me that ถุงเงิน's phone of the shop is with another staff and that staff was not here. OMG!!! (Please, noted that you can log-in ถุงเงิน applications for your shop at maximum of "4" devices.)

Don't make a reservation for Airbnb. If you pay in cash, it'll be a little cheaper. The room is clean.Perfect security...

Excellent location off of bukao on soi 15 I think. The room was small but had good wifi mostly. I had to reset the router a few times. Cold aircon and hot water shower. Drinking water is available in the lobby. Beware that there is not an elevator and this place is not handicap accessible. So if your on the fourth floor... And after a long day at the bar it's quite a climb. Friendly staff. I'll probably stay again or one of the other guest houses on the street.

I checked in 2 days ago and it is sooo loud here..the walls are thin and the halls echo..nighttime no staff so people come and go all night..
I asked if i could check out and get partial refund from the 18,000 baht for room plus 8,500 deposit.
NOOO only can give you partial deposit back..
Thats 9,000 baht a night here.
Im stuck here for the next 29 days because i cant get my refund..
8 years i have been living 6 months a year here and my first bad experience is this fricken place...
SO UPSET WITH THE PEOPLE HERE.

This is my second time staying here at 18 coins hostel , and it’s one of the best accommodations I’ve found in this area. All the party clubs and nightlife spots are close by, and the beach is also not far from here. It really feels like the centre of everything, which is why I came back again.

I have been coming to this hotel for over 3 ½ years. During that time, I’ve made wonderful friends here, and I’ve always appreciated how most of the staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive — they smile, remember my name, and make me feel at home.
Unfortunately, on my most recent visit I experienced something very disappointing. One staff member treated both me and my fiancée with open hostility. When I greeted her politely, she responded with a scowl and shouted at me. She also swore at us and told me my fiancée was not allowed at the hotel. This was shocking and upsetting, as I’ve never been treated this way in Thailand before.
It’s a shame, because the rest of the team is excellent. However, one person’s behavior can be enough to ruin the experience for guests. I truly hope management addresses this, because otherwise this is a great place to stay.

Even though the check-out time is 12 PM, they let me stay until 2 PM because my bus was late. Such nice people! There's a good reception area where you can bring food and eat while watching the outside moving traffic.
