Suncity Hotel Pattaya in Pattaya

Please avoid this place at all costs. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

The facilities of this hotel were bad from the get go. The wifi never worked. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and ants in the rooms. The lights were turning on and off automatically despite configuring proper settings. In the middle of the night at 3 AM, someone rang our doorbell which turned off the lights and disrupted our sleep.

Upon many complaints made to the staff and our agent, we got moved to another room however we were met with more issues in the second room. There was no lock on the bathroom door, and our bathroom was clogged. We had to call the staff for the issues to be fixed.

Some of crowd in this place was bad. People were loud all night making it an unpleasant environment.

The breakfast was not very good either - in addition to poor food quality, there were ants at the coffee station, the cutlery was dirty and we had to ask for new bowls. We also found a strand of hair in our food which was very concerning.

Nice cleaning and wait staff. Front desk could have been friendlier. It is an older hotel. Could use some room updates. They serve Indian food all day, and it is in an Indian neighborhood so all of the restaurants in the area appear to be Indian. If you are looking for Thai food, it is not easy to find in the area. Plenty of Indian vegan/vegetarian options nearby. Room was supposed to be an ocean view. It was actually a partial ocean view, and a lot of blighted buildings could be seen from the window as well. It's okay. Wifi was okay. Kept dropping off. Thin walls too. The people next door were very noisy.

I lost a package from the room after the housekeeping session on Nov 9th / Nov 10th 2025. A package with new skincare products I had purchased. I realized I lost it at the hotel only after leaving Pattaya.

I had misplaced my used shoes also which the hotel identified. But the new products? They vanished from my room like a mystery.

Theft warning. Stealing warning. Be careful with your stuff.

Will not recommend this hotel.

Poor hotel.. cockroches in room... broken taps. Leaking showers.. Rooms are okay.. breakfast below average, but not poor..

Having very bad experience. AC is not working and reception manager said if u don't want to stay then go back soon... What the hell is that ? Is this a service ? How can i stay without AC .??

The hotel has lost its charm. It has shortage of staff due to which it lacks in service and maintenance

I wish I could give -ve stars for this hotel.I stayed in this hotel and issues were
1. Room was not available .Excuse was that booking website did not provide information correctly.Changed my room 3 times .
2. A/c not working,phone not working.Drawers dont have handle.Changed my room on next day.
3. No manager was available during whole stay.Only one girl was at the counter who can bearly understand english.
