Anantra Pattaya Resort by CPG in Pattaya

A terrible place. Avoid at all costs.
When we arrived the room was filthy. We even had a cigarette just lying on the floor when we entered the room. We had to keep our shoes on all the time, to stop your fleeting getting black on the bottom.
We had a pool entry room, but the tiles in front of our room were like ice when wet. The first time we used the pool my wife slipped over on the edge.
You had to select your breakfast the day before, from a short list of arranged meal plans. When we got our breakfast in the morning everything was cold, and of very poor quality. They even put sugar in your coffee before you got it. When we asked for a replacement, they took it away, but nothing came back.
There were also lots of flies around the table.
This is the 11th hotel that we have stayed in, while travelling around SE Asia, and this was definitely the worst.
I understand it was a budget hotel, but this was ridiculous.
We booked six nights, and left after one.

I do not want to say horrible, so I say it's a terrible place to stay in. The hotel is practically a guesthouse and in a state that needs renovation urgently.
My room was ramshackle, the bathroom real nasty. I felt physically uncomfortable there. The lady at the reception is kinda like a mamasan, her English language skills are very limited. The breakfast... 👎🏻
Good: the room was spacious enough, the pool looks nice with clear water, but I didn't use it.
I moved out after 1 night and went to The Glow...just little bit more expensive but unbelievably better.. new, clean, comfy.
