Baan Ploy Sea in Samet Island

Love their service, so accommodating and nice! We had some issues with our luggage and transport, they helped us in any way possible. The room & view was so pretty too! Breakfast was okay for muslims

Overall, I'm very satisfied! After arriving by bus, we walked about 600m to the pier reception, then took a slow boat to the hotel's pier. Baan is the closest of the four hotels to the pier (as shown in the last picture), which was a huge relief! It's just a 1-minute walk, saving us the hassle of getting a tuk-tuk.

The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's quiet and elegant. I especially loved the tree by the beach. Being close to Christmas, the evenings here left a wonderful impression on me!

The room was quite spacious, with an IKEA-esque style. There's an outdoor balcony, perfect for reading in the morning. Outside the room, there's a chocolate drink shop where you can grab a drink to enjoy on the beach. To the north, it's less crowded and beautifully scenic – I really love it here!

Breakfast was also quite extensive, with several dishes you could select individually. The staff's attitude was much better than in many places in Bangkok. I'm especially grateful that on my first day, I forgot my DJI drone, and the front desk staff kept it safe for me until I returned. Thank you!

Oh, and there's a small restaurant run by an old man to the north that's absolutely delicious! Try the Tom Yum Goong and Mama noodles! My husband and I, along with the Swedish couple at the next table, completely cleaned our plates. Highly recommend: ร้านเจ้กิวลุงเตี้ย

Small quite hotel. Staffs are nice and friendly. Short walking distance to the center.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This hotel is a gem—it’s spotless and incredibly well-maintained. The feeling of cleanliness made us instantly comfortable.

But the real highlight is the location and the view! Being so close to the beach was perfect, and our room offered truly beautiful, breathtaking views of the coast.

On top of everything, the food was delicious and high-quality. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!

Beautiful hotel in a very quiet part of the island. Loved the buffet breakfast, nice selection of western and Thai foods. The room was modern, and exceptionally clean. Very restful stay! A few things that we didn’t love the rooms aren’t super sound proofed and we were woken up to the neighbors shutting doors. Location is a bit far if you don’t rent a motorbike. Overall, would stay again!

The Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

After much deliberation, we finally settled on this hotel. Perhaps because we visited during the off-peak season, there weren't many guests, which made for a wonderfully peaceful and satisfying experience. The hotel restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced meals; in fact, we ended up having all three of our daily meals there. They also boast a stunning jungle-themed coffee shop, and the staff even offered us a discount. The only minor drawback was the air conditioning in our room, which was quite noisy, but otherwise, everything was excellent.
