The people that work there are incredible even by Thai standards. The pool is beautiful the grounds are immaculate.  Now the rooms are older. The hot water situation is a mystery.  The WiFi is hit or miss but that’s pretty much everywhere

Quaint 3 star BEACH FRONT resort off the main road, very reasonable rates.  The staff are exceptional, particularly Hong, Ao, Yeerarf and Pua.They will do anything needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Hong Was amazingly accommodating to the point where I had left my passport at the Phuket airport. She arrange for a car to get it and reassured me everything will be OK. She is a one woman army and takes care of that place so well. If I can give 10 stars for customer service I would. The place itself is clean, cute, and I feel a bit more authentic than some of the other places around.

Clean and comfy rooms adjacent a nice pool area. Breakfast was good with eggs of your choice, fresh bread, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Location is quiet off the main road. It's a bit of a walk to beach but equidistant to the two town centres. We are happy walking so this was no issue to us and it was nice to be away from the road with the hills and jungle as a backdrop.

I really enjoyed spending one night in this cozy and stylish place. The hotel located not on the beach, but has a quiet natural location. The boss was very nice and polite, informed us about attractions around. A sauna was a great way to spend that rainy evening! We'd be happy to stay here again on occasion

Anocha runs this little gem a few hundred feet east of the main road in Khao Lak. She is kind and helpful. The place is simple but kept nice and clean. There is a small restaurant on the premises for a great breakfast included in the price of the room. You can also rent scooters right there. Other authentic Thai restaurants are within walking distance. Tours and excursions can be arranged too....

We spent the day here while waiting to get on our liveaboard dive boat. Great hospitality. Excellent food in the restaurant. Lovely pool that I dipped into regularly throughout the day. Highly recommended.

Only had drinks and food (on 3 separate occasions). The initial impression was not that great but after we sat there for a while the charm of simplicity and friendliest of staff completely won us over. The food was very good, freshly cooked and full of flavour. The beer was cold and prices extremely reasonable. Well worth visiting.

We didn't stay here so I can't say anything about the rooms. Eating: We ate at Pranees several times, both lunch and dinner. Both service and food were on top level. You will not be disapointed :).

what didn’t I like!!! we wanted a quiet get a way for the family… away from the crowds and noise… and we found it. almost 3km of beach to ourselves. there are 12 bungalows but only 3 or 4 were booked at a time. Nice place with very good food really cooked whith love. Today I had Pad Thai with shrimps that was really tasty. Plenty of sunbeds where you can stay in the shade or not. We stayed in a budget bungalow that is a few minutes walk to the beach with very good value for money.

Pranee is one of those “not so hidden” gems on Koh Kho Khao. My wife stayed here 3 nights. It was a beautiful hotel. Staff were very accommodating and nice. Have a huge pool and many walking paths. The beach area is not very crowded and quiet. The daily breakfast was very good. Hotel is walking distance to town and many restaurants. Our room was very clean and bed comfortable. My wife enjoyed big bath tub.

This was our first meal in Khao Lak having arrived on flight in early morning and we were both tired. It rained so hard we were lucky we were under the outside roofing. The food was ok and we were not staying in the hotel. It's basic but pleasant in a courtyard setting of a budget hotel.

It is such a decent place to stay with affordable price. The room is spacious and clean. Not to mention a good-size swimming pool that makes the hotel high-value than its price. Really nice, clean place to reset and to explore Khao Lak and the villages around. Everything is reachable by walking. So Beach, supermarket, Thai kitchen, Temple, big street market are very close. You have a nice and quite view from the back. If it's too hot, you can just jump in the cool pool. If you need something, they are happy to help and organise things for you.

Laguna Villas was perfect, our villa was a huge clean space, with a beautiful bathroom with outdoor shower, manicured gardens, large clean pool, and near lots of great restaurants. Amazing place to stay and food lover’s paradise. This resort is located right close to the beach with such a beautiful views of Phang Nga Bay. Located near to the Tsunami Memorial in Bangniang younger within walking distance of all the entertainment, restaurants, bars, general stores and fresh markets. The beach is close by also. The accommodation is okay. It is near tourist attractions. It is convenient to find something to eat. It is recommended to bring shampoo and toothpaste. We stayed for 2 nights but they did not come to clean and change the sheets. But everything else is okay.
