I stayed here for one night and there was a beautiful sweet lady that helped me a lot with interesting locations to see in this calm town. As for the hotel, I had a great view from the window on it, and the rooms are quite large for an average hotel. It was clean, nice smelling and very safe too. The hotel itself is also located near a gas station and a large 7-eleven store.

We arrived by bus (800bat from terminal 2 Phuket town) to this Small village to find a James Bond Island tour with locals (Not those tour that you can find in Phuket town or even worst in Patong). The accommodation was great, and the location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. There's no parking at the hotel, but you can park in public areas. Rooms are a mixed bag. Some in need of updating with leaky air con units, discoloured bath and bathroom floor, poor shower, BUT you don't spend much time in there. Almost private beach - 3 hotels and couple of restaurants. Nice pool. Beautiful gardens. Good sized rooms. Traditional Thai. Lots of dark wood. Outdoor dining. I prefer a more modern hotel and brighter, lighter decor. That’s just a preference. Mostly male staff. Thai staff can’t do enough to help. Didn’t get this vibe here.

The hotel is small. Empty. Detached houses, there is a swimming pool, which I have not tried. The sea is nearby, if through the garbage, 30 m.. The beach is excellent, large, sandy. The room was spacious and clean. The owner was incredibly kind and lovely. We woke up late and missed breakfast, so we ordered food, but the owner ended up giving it to us for free! We ordered lunch around 12:30 PM because we overslept and missed breakfast, but the owner was so incredibly nice and sweet. (P.S. The rice porridge was delicious! Minced pork congee with egg. We had an amazing few days at this resort. A family run hotel which had amazing customer service, always friendly and chatty with local recommendations and advice. Quaint 3 star BEACH FRONT resort off the main road, very reasonable rates.  The staff are exceptional, particularly Hong, Ao, Yeerarf and Pua.They will do anything needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and SUPER clean.  The AC works very well.  The safe is actually connected to a wall.  There is a small fridge in the room and coffee supplies. GREAT breakfast included...

Hong Was amazingly accommodating to the point where I had left my passport at the Phuket airport. She arrange for a car to get it and reassured me everything will be OK. She is a one woman army and takes care of that place so well. If I can give 10 stars for customer service I would. The place itself is clean, cute, and I feel a bit more authentic than some of the other places around.

This boutique style family owned resort went out of their way to ensure the couple of days I spent there were stress free. Their attentiveness to ensuring I made it to my next destination and multiple phone calls placed whilst I waited because of a broken down bus were over and above the service you would probably get at a bigger resort. This is a great place with excellent location. Right on the beach, quiet but not far from the center. The resort crew were amazing and super helpful. Everything was really beautiful - rooms, pool, the beach. The owner didn’t stop to surprise us with her care.

This stay was perfect. When I arrived in Khao Lak I didn't like my hotel therefore I found the Shambhala Resort and I was directly in Love with the location. The Pool and the Rooms are perfect. It is the perfect place for all Instagram photos. You get a large Room with a nice Bathroom. All you need is there. The Resort is like a small jungle. The Pool is soooooooo nice.
