Ladda Resort in Khao Lak

What a place! Comfy beds, nice big pool, beautiful sea view from the balcony! Best hotel I’ve been to yet in khao lak also there’s a great little bar directly facing the entrance called “The Nut House” that was a perfect place for a few later drinks great atmosphere, put out football matches on 100% recommend 😎

We stayed in a large duplex villa right by the pool. Large room and comfortable bed. The compound is nice with many pools and of course the beach as well. Not a h
uge breakfast buffet but we managed to find enough of what we like to keep us happy. Staff very polite and helpful. Love the smile of the guard manning the gate. We had issues with the air-conditioning and they provided an extra fan so all ok.

We had a lovely stay here. I had seen comments that it's looking a bit dated, which i kind of get, but that doesn't detract in anyway from the holiday.

The staff are lovely and service is good. Breakfast was great, plenty of options whatever you eat.

Location is great, you can lie on a lounger 5 m from the sea. The beach is quiet. We didn't use the pools but they seemed nice.

You can either eat in the resort or wander out and there are plenty of bars and restaurants, suiting a range of budgets.

There is a large local market most evenings, which also has great street food and a brilliant atmosphere.

Definitely recommend trips to the local island nature reserves and the rain forest, stunning.

All in all, we loved our time here.

Stayed here for 5 nights, the resort grounds are stunning, beautifully landscaped and all the buildings are very Thai style, the pool is lovely although the water is too warm 😂

Breakfast was really good and in a gorgeous location and the staff are uniformly fantastic.

Easy to walk to lots of bars and restaurants and just a few minutes to the night market.

The only reason I’ve dropped a star is the rooms, they badly need updating, there’s a musty smell when entering and the bed feels old, damp patches in the bathroom where mold is growing.

The whole area where the conference facilities are appears to be empty and no longer used.

Just needs some tlc and this would be 5*

Such a shame but it didn’t spoil our holiday.

My wife stayed here 3 nights. It was a beautiful hotel. Staff were very accommodating and nice. Have a huge pool and many walking paths. The beach area is not very crowded and quiet.

The daily breakfast was very good. Hotel is walking distance to town and many restaurants. Our room was very clean and bed comfortable. My wife enjoyed big bath tub.

Exceptional hospitality, very clean rooms and hotel grounds, very green and with hotel grounds with coconut and mango trees. Very good Thai cuisine and we like the breakfast very much. Both the reception, waiters and management are extremely friendly and helpful. We feel very comfortable and don't want to leave. We have eaten here and there in outside for lunch and dinner, but then we stayed in the hotel and mostly ate from here. It is very nice and feels welcome always and every day. Highly recommended. We stay here all together 14 nights und today is the 8th day.

Incredibly beautiful facility. Perfect and courteous service. We enjoyed our stay very much. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. You can't go wrong with this resort.

We visited this hotel as a family of three (a couple with a 1 year old child) for 1 week in December 2021 / January 2022. This hotel is set in a beautiful landscape in a great location on the beach and close to many restaurants. The garden villas are absolutely lovely, surrounded by green and the peaceful sound of birds/nature (it was especially great to have the little balconies to spend time on while our baby napped). In addition to being spacious enough for a small family, the villas also have a massive bathtub and luxurious outdoor shower that we loved. The breakfast is pretty good, with the basics and enough diversity to give you a good start to the day. There is a massage cabana near the ocean with great massages available throughout the day (at a reasonable price). The staff are also very kind, helpful and friendly.
Cons: very hard pillows, no baby high chair in the restaurant (only ones made for toddlers), half the machines are broken in the fitness room, the pool by the ocean is quite dirty, and the coffee place and pool bar are closed (I assume due to covid meaning less guests/income).
