They also seemed disrespectful toward their own staff. Leadership should be about setting an example and prioritizing guests, which unfortunately was lacking. the restaurant management needs serious improvement

The waiters were hardworking and provided excellent service. However, the restaurant managers appeared unprofessional and rude

On several occasions, including once when I asked for water, they responded in a dismissive manner while standing and chatting among themselves and I was treated as if it wasn’t their responsibility

We pay to stay in hotels with amenities seen on the websites and expect them to be available we would not have stayed here if we had of known the truth with restaurant options and pools being closed also disrepear of the rooms

Great hotel considering the price. The reception team was welcoming and kind, and they gave me a sea-view room with a warm smile

I am a diabetic and coke zero was served with meals BUT pool bar said they don't have any nor water at pool bar just alcohol coffee or sugar juices so if you are diabetic you can only get sugar free in restaurant and certain bars inside

If you want to have a good experience you have to visit (soviva hotel sousse At Tunisie) and if you already decided to come they have a good assistant team search for these guys (haider and all animation team).

A very nice hotel with excellent service; everyone was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and food were wonderful and delicious, and the entertainment team was fantastic and very cheerful

The waiters and entertainment teams are so lovely and friendly made the whole family feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us! I mentioned to 1 of the waiters it was my husband’s birthday, well, at dinner they made sure it was an extra special evening decorating our table and making the whole night very special

the restaurant and all the bars are nice and all the staff are really nice and friendly to you the food is nice but sometimes could do with been warmer

Our last day here the staff are excellent especially Wassim who works at the main pool bar he has looked after us from day 1 You couldn’t wish for a nicer more helpful man He has made our stay so much more enjoyable

The menu was varied each night and while breakfast was a bit mundane, our chef at the omelet station was on point and had my omelet and fresh fried beignette ready as soo as i arrived

Sadly he was not working on mu last day so that i could reward his service properly. The pool is wonderful, and while the fight for lounge chairs was tedious, the sun and coll waters made up for it

The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Kudos especially to our "personal" waiter, Sammy who made sure our table was resdy each evening and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable

Check in was a bit tedious as our request for accessible/disabled rooms was not noted, but the hotel was quick to remedy and the following day we were moved to the correct rooms

Nice pool and lobby. But i don't like food. And paying for water in restaurant is miserable for 4**** hotel. Garden is nice, many palms. Sahara is very close.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Nice decor and food though could be improved by labelling food. As a vegetarian, I wasn't sure what I could eat so stuck to salad and bread

The room is clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area, a beautiful environment, and a plentiful breakfast.

It's in the desert, so it's nice to have a place to rest. The facilities are relatively old, but they are actually very good in the local area

The air conditioning, hot water and toilets all work normally, and there is also wifi. The breakfast is filling and the swimming pool is good for swimming

Marhaba Palace is a lovely hotel and we had a truly special experience during our first visit to Tunisia. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the entrance gives you a palace like feel with a giant chandelier

However, the sink was a bit clogged and the showerhead wasn’t in great condition. The hand soap bottle was also empty (oops). Dinner had a wide variety of dishes, but breakfast was surprisingly plain

It is also a very child friendly and lots of sports activities to engage such as pedal court, pool, Indore swimming, gym to name a few. After dinner entertainment was also top class

Better if made as in other hotels: to issue towels at the cards under a Deposit of 15 euros. Do not be stingy to pay extra for a room with a sea view (and pool view) and above the 1st floor

My husband and myself Just left Royal Thalassa to return home. We are deeply saddened for this holiday to end. I will miss the amazing time I spent at this exceptionally wonderful hotel

Momo, Chica and Meme were always fun to be around. The trip to the Olive festive was a pleasant surprise. Tasting various types of breads and olive oils which was arranged by the hotel staff

The most I will miss is the swimming at the indoor pool. I was a beginner when I stepped into that pool but with the help and guidance of Yaseen the life guard and Moiz I can now swim

Osam every morning saw me walk in and prepared a fresh doughnut for me. All the team in the restaurant was amazing, they always greeted us with a massive smile and were never reluctant to help

Our last day we had a fantastic a la carte lunch including steak and chips in the poolside restaurant and the food and staff were fantastic! We had a fabulous time here and the weather was wonderful for an October half term holiday (29 degrees most days) and we look forward to returning to tunisia, our new favourite holiday destination

We have just returned from houda golf as a family of five, 2 adults and 3 children aged 11,8,5. Upon arrival, we were able to upgrade our room for a small fee, and we had a fantastic room

Interconnecting family room, with pool and beach views, absolutely beautiful. Pools are great and clean, the main pool is divided for babies and adults, with an extra children's pool

Breakfast and evening meals are similar to any all inclusive with generic eggs, sausages pancakes, and for dinner chicken rice chips, and a variety of Tunisian dishes which even my daughter ate! There are 2 a la carte evening restaurants but we did not use these

For the first 2 days we had full access to the pool bar, however after this, due to staff shortages/end of season, this bar was closed and we had to go to the lobby bar for drinks in the day

By the pool bar there are lovely paninis and pizzas available 12-5pm, as well as a great lunchtime restaurant selection of chicken, rice,chips,beef, pancakes etc

- the pool, towels, bar service, drinks were fine. We particularly enjoyed the wine and local beer and good cocktail selection

I am currently here in this amazing hotel. I read the negative reviews before I arrived and was dreading it. I am pleasantly impressed with this hotel

While the choice isn’t overwhelming like some all-inclusive hotels, everything that is offered is done exceptionally well. The pool and beach areas were spotless, very well maintained, and had a calm, relaxed atmosphere

Everybody was warm, attentive and welcoming right until we left which made a huge difference and gave the hotel a really personal feel. The room itself was very modern and incredibly spacious

The italian restaurant isn't good at all and not worth going I think they should think about a different option, the main wasnt really italian it was turkey or beef I was expecting more options to choose off the menu

Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels The food was very good plenty of choice for everybody lovely fruit there is wine in barrels for you to help yourself at lunch and dinner plus a craf of water on each table You also get to go to an Italian night which was great food but I did not enjoy the Tunisa night I found the food very spicy but my husband loved it

The entertainment is great the animation team work very hard entertaining all day and then giving shows at night there’s always dancing The swimming pools looked very good but I found it to cold to swim just had a paddle The bar staff are very good doing anything they can to get the drink you want

Best part that made us smile good old British trying to steal the towels to bring home !!! Oh those door alarms went off and reception staff were on it like lockdown in Harrods so funny to watch the embarrassment p

But for a cheap get away, it was perfect. Restaurant turned into a local scrum down open to public on Saturday night. I'd suggest eating out at jasmine harbour or be prepared to fight for your food!

It was one of the best stay in Hammamet! I literally felt like home! The vibe is very friendly the staff are too kind the director and her husband were very welcome! And the beach is Ouf we got tanned in the end of October 🥹

We went mid October and they turned the air con off despite it being 29 degrees. However, after a few discussions with staff they leant us a fan

However 7pm is quite late for dinner and since they only had one restaurant on sight everyone barged in at once with long ques. There’s not much to do in the evenings and the hotel is surrounded by other hotels

The pool and beach were amazing, lots of activities if you wish to join in e. aqua aerobics, stretch class, fire show and other entertainment throughout the day / evening

The drinks choice was poor, the wine was vile and the spirits and cocktails didn’t seem to have alcohol in. If you like a drink probably don’t come here

Animation great Thanks to Simo and team. Food not very good, plates and cups in the restaurant are too old and look dirty even when washed. Beach great, clean. Pool experience was nice

Facility is nice but a bit older. Restaurants are well kept. Breakfast is excellent Too few elevators for such a big hotel. A bit far away from anything close by.

The location of the hotel is great, the rooms are clean, the service staff are cool. There are a lot of activities to do in the hotel. 3 clean pools, one with hot water inside.

One of the better hotels in the area, and the breakfast is great! It's right by the sea, so you can easily go for a walk along the beach.

AI Red and rosé wine was perfectly drinkable and smooth, but don't expect brilliant quality. Decent range of AI cocktails, but all are made with pre-packaged juices, but are still nice if you like sweet cocktails

Unfortunately, on our last evening (22-12-2025 at around 18:45), I was stopped at the restaurant entrance by a staff member and told I could not enter because I was wearing shorts

My shorts were knee-length, but there was no prior information, sign, or written guideline anywhere in the hotel or restaurant explaining that shorts were not permitted

It's a big all-inclusive hotel at the beach front. Even in April which is low season the hotel was quite crowded. We liked the staff, everyone was smiling and helpful

We bought an all-inclusive package, and the food was good. The room was spacious and had a corner balcony, with a nice view both to the sea and the city

The hotel is good. We are resting here for the second time in a year. Meals are of course average for me. Meet at the highest level)

As to the minuses, I would say that the hotel needs some renovation: the rooms and the corridors feel weary. Our bathroom smelled bad, and on the first day we saw a bug there (possibly a cockroach)

Weather wasn't very nice, so we didn't swim in the sea (the beach looked good, though), but tried the pool: it seemed to be big enough, and the deepest end was as deep as 1,8 m

Also worth mentioning a night bar in the next hotel: one night very loud music played until midnight, and we heard it very well from floor 4 with the balcony doors closed

The pools are great, and there are often dance shows, theater performances, and other entertainment. The bars are excellent, and the drinks are really good

I do not know what planet these people with the negative reviews are from - perhaps if they had a better attitude they would find things more enjoyable instead of finding things to criticise! I stayed at this hotel in April 2017 with my sister for a week and we had a splendid time

The location is not ideal because there’s nothing nearby, but the atmosphere and the rooms are fine. The sea was terrible at the end of July, with lots of jellyfish, dirt, and sea plants. Overall, the hotel is excellent

Special praise to the animators: Viki, Katy, Kristina, Billy, Djo and Zico who brightened our vacation! They are so dedicated and adorable! They have great choreography and are very dedicated to tourists!

Food is excellent, toilets are very clean, animation team is fantastic, we have games every hour. Pools are very clean but the beach is not. There were jellyfishes 2 days and the sea wasn’t clean

The hotel is lovely, the staff were all pleasant, helpful and friendly - we always smiled and said hello too! The food was delicious - varied, fresh, colourful, interesting and tasty

If you are like my family who like to chillax at the beach and sip cold drinks and just lazy out for a week and enjoy the spa. Even their buffet is great and i am a picky eater

Spent Memorial Day weekend with 16 in our group and Le Sultan staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! It was a wonderful 3 day mini paradise vacation

until I complained and reception made me write a agreement to delete my online feedback as a Condition to change my room which is Quite unprofessional to require that. New room was far better though, bigger shower too

luggage guy took 2 tips, once from my wife and didn't say she tipped him already when i tipped him. Room was uncomfortably hot and AC didnt work entire hotel, tv didn't work, bathroom light broken, room for broken

Breakfast had decent options but staff took my silverware even after i told him to leave it and next day took my wife's newly obtained cup of cereal right in front of her, ridiculous

Paid for Sea View was given a view entirely of a dirty roof which held security concern of outside people entering from the balcony or peeping

Indoor Pool was nice and warm tho has too much chlorine it was burning our skin after being in only 2 minutes

Information for other travellers: safe key is 3TND a night (November 2025), and the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low (showers were still pleasant, but I chose not to wash my hair there as it would have taken ages)

Excellent hotel, were in October with a small child. Very clean, lovely restaurants, favorite on the beach. Large clean pool. Not for a noisy fun holiday, a lot of French people

We stayed at this hotel for two nights only and wished our stay there was longer. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Tunisia. There was a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel itself was lovely, everywhere

The rooms are well appointed, and importantly the bed were comfortable, and we slept well! One evening we sat in the bar and musicians played, mostly instrumental songs, and young people were there to encourage older individuals to dance

I was very disappointed by the attitude of the restaurant staff. The hotel setting is pleasant and the rooms are adequate, but the welcome in the restaurant really left something to be desired
