Reviews
So near to beach. Everyone helpful. Rooms perfect, hotel good spec. Food amazing. Good for solo travelers like me. Nice beach Access with bar and beds and shades. Water beautiful and not cold in December!
Inside the room, things get worse:
• Air-conditioning doesn’t work — technician came, but nothing improved.
• No kettle provided, even though this is basic in any hotel.
• No proper double bed — just two singles pushed together.
• Room is old, dirty, and poorly maintained.
The only acceptable part was the breakfast with a decent variety.
But everything else was so bad that although I paid for two nights, I could only tolerate one night before leaving to another hotel. Absolutely not recommended.
The lady at the reception asked us to give a 10/10 rating on Booking.com in exchange for a late checkout, which didn’t feel right.
She asked us to fill out a form and later expressed dissatisfaction with our grading. A staff member interrupted our lunch to have us justify our evaluations. The minibar was nonexistent, so we couldn’t give an “excellent” rating.
Guests tend to reserve beach and pool chairs very early in the morning by leaving towels on them. As a result, it’s often hard to find a free spot. I personally don’t mind lying on the sand, but others might find it frustrating.
The sand is clean and the sea is warm — really pleasant.
The food is average for this type of resort. However, the restaurants are quite noisy during meals due to the cleaning process — the sound of plates, glasses, and cutlery can be overwhelming. The large crowds also make conversations louder.
Bartenders at the main counter are friendly. Those serving outside become more attentive once tipped — otherwise, you’ll likely get drinks in plastic cups instead of glasses.
Kids’ activities are fine; Sarah is very kind. The pizza-making activity was fun, though the pizzas themselves were unfortunately not edible.
The best part was the room — spacious and with a beautiful view over the garden with sea view. The downside: it was noisy at times because of the kitchen ventilation system located nearby.
The hallways need renovation — the flooring is worn, and some cables are hanging from the ceiling.
The two elevators are often busy. It wasn’t a problem for me since I used the stairs, but it could be inconvenient for others.
The lobby and atrium are large and inviting.
Gardening wasn’t at its best, though I did see some maintenance work being done.
Overall, the hotel is clean and the housekeeping staff does a very good job.
In summary: A generally good experience with room for improvement.
Thank you to Mouna, Mohammed, Sarah, and everyone we met during our stay.
The animation staff are amazing, always walking around speaking to the guests, gauging where they’re from, the languages they speak.. the day activities are always good! The evening entertainment is so inclusive of the guests makes you feel welcome and right at home.
A special shout out to Faz, Khaled & Ben ( a few of the animation staff) you went above and beyond when doing their jobs, thank you for your kindness.
The rooms are very decent, had an issue with a loose shower head holder, called reception and maintenance fixed this within 20 mins of calling. Rooms were cleaned daily with precision and the cleaners are so lovely.
All in all, I recommend this hotel for many reasons, I will be retuning as usual xx
This is a hotel of 2 half's, meaning my partner enjoyed it (except last night) and I did not enjoy it.
What my partner thought, rooms where good, food was ok (more fresher fresh fruit would be nice) pool loved specially the pool bar, drinks were knock you head off strong, had to tell them to weaken them.
The entertainment team were the best we've had ever! They we're so engaging and friendly always happy and would do anything for you. Staff always happy and friendly.
What I thought, rooms could of done with more lights in, bathroom same. It was clean but to me didn't feel clean. Food, well I thought I was in Tunisia but the choice would have thought I was in a cheap pub shame, the Al Carte was so poor we left half way through. Drinks not for me, cheap alcohol and not great choices.
What made it for me was the entertainment team they was so good, evenings they put on great shows, during day always trying to get you to do the activities or making sure you was ok. The rest of team was very friendly and always happy (except cpl on reception)
Would I come back........ I dont know but know partner would.
