Description

Vikingen Infinity Resort & Spa - All Inclusive is a modern 5-star resort built in 2012 and renovated in 2014, located just 50 meters from its own sandy-pebble beach in Avsallar, Turkey. The resort covers 40,000 m² and features 778 rooms spread across two 6-floor blocks with 10 elevators. Guests will find six bars, a main restaurant with 900 seats, and three à la carte restaurants serving Ottoman, Italian, and Far Eastern cuisine by reservation from May. The resort offers three outdoor pools, including one with jacuzzi, a heated indoor pool, and a water park with seven slides. Family travelers benefit from extensive children’s facilities like a Russian-speaking animation team, multiple kids’ pools, a mini-club for ages 4-12, and evening mini-disco. Entertainment includes live music, Turkish nights, discos, and sports facilities such as tennis courts, volleyball, and aerobics. Spa and wellness services, including massage and sauna, are available for a fee. Internet is accessible in the lobby for a charge. The hotel’s blend of facilities supports both family vacations and peaceful beach relaxation.

Location

Vikingen Infinity Resort & Spa is situated directly on the beachfront in the İncekum area of Avsallar, 15 km from Alanya city center and 35 km from Manavgat. The airport in Antalya is approximately 90 km away, while Gazipasa Airport is closer at 55 km distance. The hotel’s private beach lies just across a road from the main buildings, with free sun loungers, umbrellas, and mattresses provided. Despite being near a busy dual carriageway, reviews note that noise is noticeable mainly if you focus on it. Local shops and a trading center are within walking distance, enhancing convenience for guests who want to explore nearby options.

Tips

  • If you are sensitive to noise, request a room away from the road and disco areas.
  • Bring cash or a MIR card to get better exchange rates locally.

I've been to this hotel about four times. It's a truly beautiful hotel with a sea view. The food is excellent. A little salt might be needed, but you can get rid of it later at the shops. Stay close to us. You can get there in ten minutes. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, there's pleasant quiet music to listen to, the reception staff is very friendly and greets you with a warm smile upon arrival, and there's a great team of massage therapists. It's a truly excellent hotel, and I'll try to repeat this experience as soon as possible.

The room is comfortable, the only drawback is the bedroom is a bit cramped. The view from the windows is of the private beach, which is quite beautiful. The staff does their job 100%, although I felt it was a bit too often. Some of the workers speak Russian and are always available to help. The food is excellent; you won't go hungry. You'll also never be bored, as there are various events, from foam parties to nightclubs. I really enjoyed everything; I'll definitely be back.

Great service, lots of entertainment for all ages, varied food, and a wide selection. I really liked the price: €700 for 9 nights, including flights and roundtrip transfers. I'll definitely be back here next year!

We were there in 2018 and are still absolutely delighted!!! The food and entertainment—everything was 5*! I'd especially like to thank the cheerful and resourceful bartenders and the hotel's head of security for their excellent work!!! We'll never forget our 2018 vacation and hope to return!!! To the entire hotel team—a huge thank you for an unforgettable experience!!! P.S. I don't know how to upload photos, sorry ;) Once I gain experience, I'll post my photos!

We had been before and loved it. This time however it seemed grubby and run down. We had to ask for blankets as there is only a sheet that doesnt fit the bed. The bedroom decor is dated with marylin munro on the walls. The food is not great, the ssme everyday. All of us at some point were ill due to the food. The sun beds all need upgraded especially on the trident where they sre all broken. The besch wss full of rubbish for the whole 2 weeks we were there. The staff are lovely but we wont be back to this hotel.

Amazing experience with family , cannot fault the hotel for the money. However a few things didn’t live up to my expectations, I paid for an upgraded room which I presumed would be a better room not just a better view. This may have just been a misunderstanding of mine , plus you are only in the room to sleep so cannot make this a bad review. The entertainment was excellent in the hotel ( around the pool and at the amphitheater)! I recommend this hotel for families with small children and just for a break to get some sunshine. Overall , it was what you made of the holiday which made it a better experience!

Avoid, zero stars. This was the worst holiday we have ever been on and to give context we have travelled abroad 4 times in the last 12 months as well as UK holidays. Since arriving home I have made a formal complaint to easyJet and they have offered a partial refund due to the multiple issues we had My family have just returned from this holiday which was absolutely terrible, I feel this hotel has been missold. The hotel is not even close to a 5 star and is more importantly a health and safety hazard. The hotel description does not explain that this hotel is directly next to the motorway and you have to cross the motorway bridge to access the beach. I would never have booked a hotel next to a motorway due to the noise which was continuous. The description should also explain that the noise from the disco goes on until 2am and can be heard throughout the hotel. This is not relaxing or enjoyable at such a loud volume and would only suit an 18 to 30s holiday. We did not sleep the entire 7nights as there was then a call for prayer being sung at sun rise every morning. There was a phone in the hallway outside our room which then rang every morning at around 7am. The room we stayed in was terrible with numerous faults, the most concerning was a leak in the roof which kept us awake with constant dripping down the wall, which then hit the skirting board before dripping onto the carpet. This was reported to reception immediately and they advised someone would come to look straight away and we would be moved rooms if they couldn't fix it. This did not happen, nobody ever arrived to even look at this. The following day the electrics in the hotel kept cutting out and to make matters worse the fire alarms were hanging off the wall so had there been an issue due to the leak it could have cost lives. The shower only gave warm water for approximately 2minutes before turning cold. Blankets were not provided in the room and we had to ask for these as the first night I couldn't sleep due to being cold with only a small sheet provided. The drinks selection is poor, you can ask for the same drink all night but it will beade differently every time depending on what alcohol they have left. If you are Turkish then it is fine to push to the front of the queue and be served immediately, probably why all of the Turkish reviews are 5 star. If you want a nice family holiday this is not the place

Like many reviews this resort may have been 5 star when it was first built but over the years it’s starting to fall apart. The location is 1hr 45mins from the airport so you have to factor the extra cost in getting there and back to the airport. The private beach is small and on one side where there are no sun beds is full of rubbish and rocks. The sunbeds along the pier all needs replacing as they are worn out. You do have to cross a bridge to get to the beach, watersides and the outdoors theatre. If you leave the bridge you can turn left or right to get into the outlets which sells more fakes and clothes outlet. Just haggle as they will always sell it at high price first. There are a few shops inside the resort but it’s a bit more expensive. Buffet mostly the same every day and avoid the desserts as they were not fresh and it gave me upset stomach. I loved the spa but they will make a hard sale once you have finished your massage by offering you more. There’s a small gym inside the spa and you are given a towel card to get beach towel from the spa which you have to return. They make you wear a wrist band at check in. The lobby was massive with two bars so it’s always busy. The rooms was clean and big and had a balcony that looked into nothing but at least it was quite except for the people next door that would bang their doors early in the morning. We were only given a sheet to sleep in no blankets and it was cold. I asked for a blanket 3 times and they didn’t deliver until the next day and by that time I had already ask the room cleaning lady to give me an extra sheet and she did. The same cleaning lady came every day and provided us what we need better then calling reception. There was a hair salon and I got my hair wash, cut and blow dry. There’s no shampoo only two tiny bottles of hair conditioner. Shower gel and hand wash are provided. We did eat out one day at a steak restaurant by the shops. The Antalya airport had about 3 check points and food was ridiculously expensive. First time seeing Mc Donald’s regular Big Mac meal for £20! No thanks, I’m not that desperate for one. Get water from the vending machines it’s only €1.90 instead of €4.50 from the food outlets or duty free. I didn’t like that smoking was allowed everywhere and the room also smelt of smoke. The rooms were very dim at night and you get free bottle of water every day. Midnight soup was excellent, night disco at 11pm was rubbish in October. There was one entertainment at 10pm then it was over. Live Turkish band playing by the pool side at 10.30pm. Despite these issues we did manage to have a good time but would not come back again.

A great place for a family trip, with professional service. Advisor offers great tours. If I were to return to the same place, I would definitely stay at this hotel.
