Reviews
The hotel itself is well-kept, you will always see cleaners around.
Our room is clean but a little outdated and small but good enough. 6th floor lady cleaners are superb.
Buffet was crazy delicious, lot of choices as well, from breakfast till dinner. Chefs are always around, making sure you’ll get the best service.
Servers are attentive wherever we go, especially Aysel, she always gives a smiling face and makes you feel welcomed.
Women’s area has good facilities including light snacks and drinks. Beach is more clean early morning and gets crowded late afternoon. You will see ladies around cleaning all the time and there’s this one who always greets you in the morning.
Entertainment area at night is great especially for kids but needs to add Islamic concepts since the hotel itself is Islamic. It could have been more better for example if they invite Islamic singers. Another thing is, smokers should have separate sitting place from non smokers. It would be more enjoyable to breathe fresh air while watching the show.
Over all stay was amazing and hoping to come back in the future.
Check-In Experience: Our first impression was less than welcoming. The check-in staff member had a noticeable attitude problem and she did not greet us at all. For a resort that claims to be 5-star, a basic greeting upon arrival should be a given. She might be better suited for a non-customer-facing role.
Men’s Gym: The men’s gym was in a deplorable state, with safety hazards everywhere. The equipment was eroded, several dumbbells were missing, and many machines were not functioning correctly. This poses a serious risk to guests.
Not Ideal for Couples Without Children: We came as a couple without kids and found the resort to be much more suitable for families. If you’re a couple without children, I’d advise considering other options.
Women’s Area Staff: The staff on the women’s side were rude to non-Turkish-speaking guests. There is a clear lack of customer service training, and it shows. Management might want to consider either providing proper training or transferring these staff members to roles that don’t involve direct guest interaction.
Food: On a positive note, there were plenty of food options available, and the overall quality was not bad. Additionally, Mert at the Sedir restaurant was extremely helpful and respectful. He deserved recognition and a raise.
Rooms: The rooms were old and in dire need of a remodel. The dated decor and worn-out furnishings didn’t reflect a 5-star standard.
Noise Levels: There was a club at the neighboring hotel with loud music playing late into the night, which severely disrupted our sleep. This was not the peaceful experience we were hoping for.
Overall, we were quite disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this resort to couples without children or to anyone expecting a true 5-star experience.
There were a few minor issues, the AC was not working in our room for 3 days and it took alot of back and forth to get it sorted. It was also difficult to get connected to the internet but eventually both things were sorted. That aside, although there was a huge language barrier as most staff didn't speak English, they were very polite and welcoming. Overall it was a lovely experience and halal resorts are definitely the way forward for us!
