Our first time in Turkey. August 13, 2021. We spent a lot of time researching hotels. We don't regret our choice for a second. The grounds are gorgeous, simply magnificent! They upgraded our room for free! The reception is excellent! And the sea is beyond words... clean, warm, no rocks at the entrance! The beach is absolutely gorgeous! There are always plenty of sun loungers everywhere! The hotel is family-friendly, with decent discos once a week and children's clubs every day!

Great hotel! We arrived last night. We booked a family room for four, but they upgraded us to a two-room suite for free! It was a pleasure! We're loving everything so far. The sea is very warm! The entry into the sea wasn't ideal; there were some rocky outcrops. We'll have to get used to it! Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

A gorgeous hotel! My wife and I stayed in a three-room suite in a three-story cottage. The room was cleaned and towels changed regularly. The evening shows were fantastic. We especially loved the African acrobats! The food in the main restaurant was excellent, with a variety of meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. The pastries were second to none. The pool bar was fully operational. The beach bar delighted us with ice cream and delicious pancakes filled with meat and cheese, baked right in front of us. The beach was sandy, but there were some large rocks. We quickly learned where it was best not to dive.

We were there in October 2021, a group of four. With two children, the pros: - nice, well-maintained grounds (on a hill, so you'll have to walk up and down) - the perfect sea for children. The slope is gentle, about 100 meters in front. You can let your children go into the sea without worrying. Perfect fine sand. (Some comments about the stoves say there were no stoves in October 2021. There were a few stones, but nothing critical. They don't bother the children when swimming. They put them in a huge 3-room suite (2 rooms and a living room with a small kitchen). There's a very good sauna in the spa center. It's big and hot. They didn't bother us with pre-booking. There's a good play area with table football, tennis, darts, and air hockey (all free). You can get stuck there with children. Cons: - The main complaint is about the waiters and bartenders. Almost every time they do something, it's like they're doing you a favor, and they have sour faces. - Although the room is large, the floor was cold and tiled (underfloor heating is only in the toilet), and the beds are soft and have bedsores. It's time to change the furniture - for some reason there was no bottled water either. Only in briquettes, which you can't close if you open a generally good hotel (mainly because of the sea and the beach). You can come back. But the furniture The rooms are time for an update. Another peculiarity is the large number of Germans. Because of this, the prices for water activities are generally 1.5-2 times higher than in neighboring hotels. As the jet ski rental guy said, "Turkey is at the bazaar. Here, on the beach, it's Europe."

Lovely stay for our holiday in Side. Our daughter loved the activities at the Kids Club, as well as the mini disco in the evening. Special thanks to Nadia and Sedef who were great with the kids.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, delicious food and attentive staff. The evening entertainment was also great.

We were warmly welcomed at the hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of greenery and fresh air. The hotel offered many fun activities, and most importantly, the food was amazing. The sea was a bit murky but warm. Overall, it was definitely a nice experience, and we are already looking forward to next year.

The best hotel we have ever visited in Turkey. Very kind, willing and helpful staff from the reception, cleaners, waiters and animation team to managers. Although the rooms are older (in bungalows), they are very clean and spacious. The entire area of the hotel is clean and beautifully maintained, it has a wonderful garden. Really excellent food, huge selection, different themed evenings and always enough of everything. Thank you for a great stay and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Amazing stay at Melas Holiday Village. Fantastic food, very nice, helpful, and hardworking staff, great entertainment team. Very clean throughout the entire hotel (rooms, pools, beach, bar, restaurants). Overall, this was definitely the best hotel I've been to in Turkey. I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next year.
