Great, the front desk was very patient. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel has a great environment and a prime location. The staff are very enthusiastic. Special thanks to Burak for helping us solve the problem with our suitcases and many other issues. It's definitely a hotel worth visiting and we will come again.

This is my second visit to Cappadocia but my 1st stay at Safran Cave Hotel. 
Visited Cappadocia previously in October 2022. 

However this is my younger sister’s 1st visit to Türkiye. 

Safran Cave Hotel’s team warm hospitality, professionalism, and helpfulness wowed both of us and made our stay a very pleasant and memorable experience.  

Our appreciation to the hotel’s reception staffs; brother Humayun Kabir and sister Feride who wowed us throughout our 4 days - 3 nights stay. 

They helped us with the hot air ballon, Green, and Red tours reservations. 
We thoroughly enjoyed these activities. 

Safran Cave Hotel breakfast lounge view complemented the delicious menemen and Turkish pancake cooked by sister Dilek Ozdemir. 
Combined, they helped make every breakfast a wonderful experience both for our eyes and palate. 

The hotel rooftop terrace was an amazing place for hot air ballon viewing at sunrise.  

Highly recommend Safran Cave Hotel in  Goreme, Cappadocia.

This is our first time living in a cave hotel. We had a very great experience. We have encountered problems when joining our green tour and red tour. They are so kind to help us communicate with them. Overall, we recommend people who want to experience cave hotel to try this!

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops - centre of the town. Great experience with cave style rooms, plenty options for breakfast. Friendly staff, especially the lady at the front desk - helped us with balloon booking and other activities with great price.

Lovely 2 night stay at Safran Cave Hotel! Really convenient location and breakfast was awesome! A few minutes walk to restaurants and shops. The rooftop had really good views of Goreme and hot air balloons in the morning. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel in Göreme, staff are very nice and helpful, breakfast is great and the restaurant too. Free and safe parking is available close by and the hotel is located just off the centre of the town in a quiet location. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Shortly after we completed our booking, the hotel contacted us directly, letting us know that we could reach out anytime if we had any questions. This thoughtful gesture immediately put us at ease. As we were interested in joining a hot air balloon tour, they kindly checked the availability and pricing for us in advance.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception, where the staff gave us a thorough explanation of the hotel facilities, a city map, and useful information about tours. There was always someone—either the owner or a staff member—present at the reception, and they also exchanged contact information with us so we could reach them anytime during our stay. Their hospitality was truly reassuring.

We specifically wanted a room with a bathtub, so we booked a suite. The room exceeded our expectations and is something we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing bath. The hotel had a cave-style design, offering the unique atmosphere of a cave without the discomfort of dampness or darkness—it was the best of both worlds. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, and thanks to the powerful ventilation system, humidity was never an issue. The bathtub also had a jacuzzi function, which made it even more enjoyable.

The hotel as a whole was charming and beautifully designed. Breakfast was served in a lovely glass-walled terrace area, where we could enjoy a selection of Turkish-style dishes. Everything was delicious and satisfying, though we would have appreciated a bit more variety in vegetables.

From the breakfast area and nearby outdoor terrace, we could see hot air balloons rising in the early morning sky. While they didn’t come very close during our stay, the sight of numerous balloons floating at sunrise was breathtaking. There’s a viewpoint about a 15-minute walk from the hotel where you can enjoy an even more spectacular view of the balloons and the sunrise, which we highly recommend visiting.

The hotel’s location is extremely convenient—right in the heart of Göreme. The main tourist spots are all nearby, and it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the bus station and supermarkets. There are also plenty of restaurants and travel agencies in the surrounding area.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They remembered us by face, and each time we returned to the hotel, someone would come out from the reception to greet us, which made us feel very welcome. Housekeeping was meticulous, with drinking water replenished daily, and the room was always kept clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the hot air balloon tour we had booked online in advance was canceled due to bad weather. When we asked the hotel for help, they promptly contacted one of their partner tour companies and offered us a new tour option—without any pressure. Once we confirmed the new booking, a staff member waited at the reception for us even at 3 a.m. the next morning, so we could wait for the shuttle in a warm and cozy room. We truly appreciated their dedication and kindness.

Our stay was extremely comfortable, and we had a fantastic time. If we ever return to Göreme, we would love to stay at this hotel again!
