Porteras Hotel in Kusadasi

Dirty sheets and pillowcases with blood stains on it. Room floor had blood stains. In one of the drawers there was a half bag of potato chips. Toilet was not flushing, remote control had no batteries. When I talked to the housekeeper she gave me one battery which was useless because that remote needed 2 batteries to operate. I talked to the guy at the reception he was nice and concerned enough and he immediately gave handed me missing batteries and made a call and some maintenance guy fixed the flush problem right away. Personel is nice, when you ask for something they do their best. Hotel is a little bit rundown. And one more thing... The breakfast area some guests were smoking and no personnel made any attempt to tell them smoking was not allowed. Having a breakfast under a smoke cloud is the last thing one would desire in the mornings. Biggest problem was housekeepers they seemed hesitant about keeping the rooms tidy. Cheap hotel, cosy beds, OK for a few days stay.

Stayed here for 7 Days never received any room service, no clean towels or bin emptied, lift broke down 3 times, door key card forever loosing settings countless times up and down trying to sort it out, Breakfast food on tops cats helping them self’s not very nice, no English speaking staff ? wouldn’t rate this hotel as 3 star, spoilt my holiday as my Eriginal hotel was cancelled spoilt my holiday.

Very horrible experience: the reception hall was dim without lights; there were no lights in the corridor, and we had to grope in the dark at night to find our room number; we were given a room at first, but when we opened it, we found that the bed had not been made at all, and the quilt was rolled up into a ball; we went downstairs to change to another room, and the corridor was still dim. The housekeeping staff accompanied us to find the new room, but before we inserted the card to use it, we found that the light was on, the heating was on, and a wrinkled room card was inserted into the control power supply. The housekeeping staff took the card away, and we were very confused. Was there anyone using the room? Are we not the only ones who have the card for this room now? The hot water was not hot enough when taking a shower, and I could smell the smell of sewage pipes when I slept. The sound insulation was very poor, and I could hear noises outside the door or the sound of doors opening and closing in other rooms. The most terrifying thing was that after lying in bed for a while, someone suddenly tried to open our door. Fortunately, we locked it from the inside, which was really scary. The Google reviews and photos all looked good. We didn't know if it was because we stayed here during the off-season or for some other reason, but the room was completely different from the bright and clean feeling in the photos. We spent the night extremely uneasy and checked out the next day.
