The View City Hotel in Kusadasi

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Stop reading my review and look at another hotel to save you some time.
Starting to write this after dinner which felt as if I was in prison with a view, what did we do to deserve this ridiculously, for lack of a stronger word, SH*T hotel.

Just came out of dinner which most people are cherries as a main course cause the rest was rubbish.

On check in we got given a room without a balcony even though we booked a room with one. It was only until we complained about another room we booked without one, that they realised they made a mistake with our OTHER room.

Even then, the initial room we had was in tatters. The curtain was ripped and the toilet looked like something out of shawshank...

After complaining to the manager about the food, he offered kindly to pay for a meal at another restaurant but it's sad that they have to provide this when we want to eat at the hotel.

A bit more about the room. Electricity only works with card inserted, which is fair, only if the fridge would stay on when the card is not inserted. (which it doesn't) so we used another card to keep it on while we were out. When we remove the card the electricity flickers on and off and creates a buzzing noise as if we were in a drug den.

If you are above 6"3 around 190cm forget it, I'm 6"6 and have to bend throughout the hotel, I don't fit into the shower and I have to bend throughout the entire restaurant area, due to low lights and ceiling.

To reiterate, this is far from a 4* hotel, management needs to improve many aspects.

Positives:
- Friendly staff.
- Good salad.. you'll really enjoy this hotel if you're a rabbit.
- magnificent view from the rooftop

It's nice to end on a high note so I'll leave it here.

The food is terrible, the hot water isn't working in the rooms, the bathroom a disgrace it smells, air conditioners can't help himself, there is such a thing as cleanliness and hygiene. Employee communication zero. Output wanted to do, and I was told about by the tour company that would not refund the money. Definitely a holiday and not take torture, if you want to go. Otherwise git-me-Yin!!!...

Positive: Great seaview
Negative: Everything else.
The room was dirty and run down. Sheets had cigarette burns, the shower floor was peeling.
The hotel smelled horridly of burned paper/plastic, especially during the night. The excuse that "something in the kitchen exploded" only works for one day, not several - and was not really assuring anyway.
The food was terrible and the staff lazy and in casual wear. Our salt dispenser didn't work so we asked for another one. The waiter just exchanged it with the dispenser from the neighbouring table and five minutes later the guest who sat down there complained about the broken salt dispenser.
This place is just a shame - so much wasted potential.

We stayed at the hotel because it looks 4 star. In one word, “disgrace”. Leave 4 stars, even 1 star is considered an insult. Cleanliness 0, room quality 0, air conditioning manual dating from 1980 - 90. The breakfast sucks, I've never stayed in so bad place in my life. The staff were zero knowledgeable and disinterested. 4 stars is a complete lie, there are thousand times better places for the same prices without the star. “ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND”
