Voxx Resort in Marmaris

Terrible place to go, food was the same everyday and so so bland, staff were friendly but one particular staff was over friendly to the teen boys, one staff memeber dennis as only use english names was such a nice man we spent alot of time talking and he was fab with the kids, miles to the beach and u have to pay to sit, u get pulled into to shop after shop by a random shop keeper who apparently wants to do u a deal better then the others and u feel pushed to buy stuff , it honestly felt like a rubbish benadorm hoilday no culture and nothing to see. We paid 95 uk money for a day out on the orka ship for the family to turtle bay but didn't actually see the turtles as only the ones who brought the crabs were told when to come back, we ended up at the mud baths which stink so so bad amd the manager kept shouting at people and literally 250 all trying to use at the same time so basically was on a boat for 12 hrs and they took our water untill we got off so they could chatge u £3 for a drink u got a lunch but more like a child's lunch... lots of shops and pubs made to look English but has took away the turkey feel . If you are looking for a shopping hoilday for cheap tobacco or fake clothes and u have a good amount of money and u also like to get drunk and don't mind walking miles then this is the hoilday for u . We will no be returning ever thanks

Arrived at 1am to a dirty room which looked like it hadn't been cleaned since previous people left, hair and bits all over floor, bathroom not cleaned at all. Food was completely unedible unless you eat chicken nuggets and chips every day ( I prefer fresh food) it was cold and used for multiple meals if not all used, also really bland. All hotel was filthy and not cleaned at all, staff were rude if you complained about something. Holiday rep 'Jimmy' hated the fact we didn't book excursions through him and gave me and my wife a dirty look for saying no. Staff were fighting with machetes and knives and a few times some staff hit the guests ( one being a 16 year old girl)

This hotel is deserved to close down or bring changed to 1 star! The hotel, food and management is terrible. Not a 4 star. Bad security letting anyone in and not checking bands. Late in night fights between staff. Started from 10pm ( 5th September) where police where called and arrested staff; also was an ambulance because someone was stabbed which I saw a worker in pain. The workers return to work the following day?! The hotel has a plaque which says ‘ SAFE TOURISM’. Not at all safe. Also EXPIRED SAFE TOURISM CERTIFICATE! Wild boars!! running through pavement on site where kids are. Luckily they managed to stay away from them and we was out the way. loads of cats disturbing me eat as they keep trying to get food. Drinks taste artificial and juice was strong and disgusting with bits inside. The food is either undercooked or over cooked ended up eating out as my full guest where upset stomach’s. Plenty restaurants down the road much enjoyable and proper food and drinks. Chicken nuggets and chips for breakfast. Lol still cold as with all food. Chefs on outside leaving fresh food open on the side waiting for it go cold while cold ones are being taken by other guests. Donned meat served a baby hand full as was told to let other get it behind me. 100 + guest and I’m being told wait! There should be enough for everyone anyway. Still terrible and greasy anyway. Chips only thing worth eating if you like them cold and pancakes where only thing worth eating. Lids kept open and staff lazy to change it also not serving drinks. Funny enough when everyone complained at the Time I was there waiters actually improved and was asking offering drinks all the time. Wasps all over counters and flies luckily none of my family was stung. Bar near pool serving alcohol to little kids who look about 5. Water slide closed few times during the day due to staff wanting to eat and go on break. They need more near the pool so water Slides can be open all the time. The manger serving ‘VIP’ in his eyes alcohol after their serving hours smoking and drinking with them. Also if his favourite people weren’t there he just be staring at people not seeing problems inside. He would just go up to random people and be touching while eating saying weird things I can’t type. What a joke! Gym is just a storage room with 2 treadmills and a cross trainer and a single dumbbell. My full family is athletes and it was terrible and tiny . POWER CUT ALL DAY LONG - no backup generators! Got stuck in the lift was very worried. Room light wouldn’t work with power cut. Bad drainage system in sinks and shower. Staff refuse to change room. Air conditioning leaking water all the time. Called in every night when sleeping waking up to puddles; cause burning and fire hazard as light was underneath with water dripping onto it! Extremely dangerous!! And left mess in room every time. Beds where made once. Bit hygienic and constantly asking for towels as cleaners were lazy. Lifts at night disturbing k

This hotel was the most disgusting place ever. There was no such thing as keeping it clean and hygiene. Lift smelt so bad. Lots of kids were falling by the swimming pool. No staff were picking empty glasses, drinks were cheap and disgusting. Staff could not understand word of English. I am vegetarian I asked them what does food not have labels. I spoke to the manager he did not understand much English either. We went for all inclusive on the first day we arrived at 1am we had been travelling and me and my family was hungry. They charged us for 2 tiny portions of chips and 2 kabab roll. It was so expensive they ripped us off and took a full advantage. I don't not recommend this hotel. Also all the food lids were open there were flies sitting. It was not pleasant at all.

This not 4⭐️ hotel ít scam Please pp don’t book this hotel it horrible dirty, all stuff so old from the entrance to the room, very hot everywhere it dirty floor, room, dinning room, drink bar, poor area, swimming poor indoor so stink of the toilet smell , food extremely horrible every day cooking one person and they will use the food leftovers to cook again that what you get from afternoon or dinner.you pay and you have waiting for food and drink because only one person server you I dont understand how the big hotel no cleaner for time and time. Phone can’t connect to the reception you come down to the reception. Omg 😱 lot of it broken dirty

13/08 - Transfer: Took 2 hours to arrive at hotel. We are not in the heart of Marmaris as advertised on loveholidays, we are out the way of everything. We are in a place called Mugam. Rooms: Clean upon arrival however then noticed there is no bedding for 4th person, all sheets on beds have x1 single sheet whitch is paper thin and full of holes! Also curtain falling down. Towls: not enough towls based on x4 people. There are x2 towls in the room. Balcony: view is a septic tank/rubbish! No table & chairs for us to sit. Tried to use the phone in the room to call reception, this does not work! It's not even connected. Food: cold and rancid! All hot food served outside, lids left open and flies all over food. No food cards to give information as to what each food is. Drinks are flat & cups are dirty.We went to find the A La Carte - there is no A La Carte section as advertised on loveholidays! We have eaten outside of the hotel tonight! The food is awful and the children won't eat anything, not even chips! I spoke to reception and asked them to move us to another room, we were told the hotels rating is "not based on views! And there were no other room to move us too, due to hotel being full!", another set of bedding was provided (no towls) and we were told the phone/curtain would be fixed. We are still waiting for the phone/curtain to be fixed. 14/07 - First thing before I have done anything is try to email and call loveholidays!! I cannot get any reception! This place is awful and discusting. Emails keep bouncing back, I have no way of complaining. I have complained to the staff, but they speak very little English and have no idea what I'm saying!! I havent been able to get anywhere, no-one understands what I'm saying. Breakfast: cold & all lids left up, flies all over food. We have paid to eat out. Hot drinks: coffee... awful!! No milk and everything tastes off. Pool: Broken floor tiles and drainage, filth (human) in the showers and rubbish including dirty pants and tampons thrown in the side of the bushes! Ice cream for the children is once a day, the ques are long and the children get burnt whilst waiting. There should be a section where the children can help themselves to ice-cream throughout the day or the staff provide the ice creams from behind the bar. Pool toilets: Discusting! No toilet paper, sewage all over the floor and it stinks! Had to go through main foyer to use toilet facilities. The toilet is disgusting and you can visibly see filth in and around the toilet. We went to look for the play area for the children, it is closed and not available for the children to play in due to poor conditions. Love holidays advertised this available for children to play in. Drinks fridge completely empty! No variety of drinks due to them running out of apple and other fruit juices for children! Drinks: Cups dirty, cannot drink without using straws. Do not book this hotel.! We stayed for a week..Very disgusting the room not been clean toilet should be clean every day but they clean after 3 day & the bed sheets not been changing for the whole week. My room is next to the stage and dinner area night time when the show started is very noisy & sometimes people still they after 11 at night. When we complained staff not do anything. Food it ok some of that leftover they used the same for next days. Swimming pool is always fully packed. Stayed away from this hotel...

Where do I start! Wow well this dirty hotel was vile didn’t have milk half of the time or no ice or ice creams! They served food I wouldn’t feed my dog let alone humans and when I complained they didn’t care less! They served sprouts for breakfast along with potatoe wedges from the night before! We didn’t eat 1 single meal we ate out every day because the food is that bad! Which cost us a fortune but I just couldn’t face that terrible food! I will attach pictures! Yeah he hotel looks nice on picture but this is the truth of the pictures I will be uploading ! I beg everyone to STAY well away from this absolutely disgust hotel! I complained to the manager and they put me on the phone to a rep who actually agreed with me and the amount of people who complained on holiday and didn’t eat from this dirty hotel either! I told them that they need to be shut down and that they shouldn’t be allowed to serve the food they do!! Rooms are disgusting doesn’t get cleaned until every 3 days! And no fresh towel! There was cups from our drinks left in the room for days! Also there are flies all over the food!!! This hotel doesn’t deserve 1 star let alone a 4! I actually cried and wanted to go home on the first day so did my children! The pool area is filthy!!! Please please please do t waste your money! I never do reviews but I really need to this time to warn people!

We stayed there for one week. I don’t know where to start but honestly it’s not a four star hotel the minimum should be one star but the maximum is two star so I just put that. First of all there is nothing as they described on their website or pictures. There is no sauna, no entertainment room for kids, no hamam and Turkish bath opened. Most of the things are not working, whenever we ask all they reply with is ‘sorry’ that’s it and they go away. And the most bad part is the food. Such bad food!!!, I can’t even describe. The whole family had tummy aches and vomited all day for days which put pressure and us parents as we are trying to have a non headache holiday where we can rest our minds but it was all just stress so we mostly had food from out. Air conditioning was alright for the rooms but in lobby and eating area was to hot to sit. WiFi was bad. If you want to go to be in room all day your choice but before we looked at reviews and some were bad and good but we had faith but it failed all we received was ‘sorry’.Pictures are just staged for the pictures and not real and some were not even updated and this was from years ago. There is no point wasting money on this hotel, at the end you are just sick and stuck with disappointment. Note: At the start I didn’t realise but after talking about the hotel and remembering that trashy place I put it to one star.
