Our stay at Hotel Dost in Marmaris was very disappointing. The room and bathroom were dirty and outdated, and we were afraid of getting bed bugs - truly terrible.
While the staff were very kind and the breakfast was good, the hotel is old and unclean. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Dost Hotel, where I was especially impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the pool was clean and well-maintained. And the hotel is near the Marina and center of marmaris so you only need to walk no need for transportation. I highly recommend this hotel!

One of the best holiday experience I have had in a long time. We stayed for 10 days in the hotel and I was left with only great impressions – our rooms were cleaned every day, towels and bedsheets being change every few days, unlike any other hotel I’ve stayed before, the breakfast was diverse, fresh and delicious. There weren’t any issues with the air-conditioning or wi-fi network, which seems to be a problem for quite a lot of places in Türkiye. On the other hand, i fully appreciated the attention to detail in the flower decorations in the common areas and the extra shelves in the bathroom and the numerous cabinets in my room. The only thing that could be improved though is the sound insulation of the rooms as I was able to hear all of the other guests walking around and some of them causing extreme noise during the night. Despite that my special thanks go to the owner of the hotel, Yüksel, Uğur and all of the attentive ladies of the staff who made sure to meet our needs and recommended us to visit different places. 🥰

The hotel is well located and offers good service. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is rich and varied. However, the room lacked proper sound insulation, and no housekeeping was done during our 3-night stay.

We stayed in a family room with two bedrooms in early April. The temperature at night dropped to 7 degrees. The room is on the fourth floor, the entrance to the room is directly from the street balcony. Instead of an entrance door, there is an ordinary interior door with huge cracks around it. Instead of blankets, there are narrow woven bedspreads. For 4 people, there were only 2 woolen single blankets. When we asked for 2 more blankets, we were told: your room has air conditioners with climate control, why do you need blankets. In one of the bathrooms, the window is closed only by a ventilation grill, there is no glass, just a hole to the street. The cold at night is terrible. We had to cover the window with sofa cushions at night. In another bathroom, the floor in the shower stall was so dirty that it was impossible to use it. There is no soundproofing, loud music can be heard from the street until 12 at night. All the furniture is very old and shabby. The gas stove is in a state of emergency, the washing machine does not spin the laundry. The bed linen is in patches. The towels are washed to a gray color, it is very unpleasant to use them.

We (young couple) stayed at Hotel Dost for 5 nights.
The friendliness and service provided by the staff were exceptional. The manager (Efe) went out of his way to tend to our personal concerns and we now recognize him as a friend.
Not to mention, the hotel is very central and is walking distance from Bar street, Old Town and the beach promenade.

The room was kept relatively tidy and was spacious, with room cleaning everyday.

The manager will also give you good recommendations on what to do and even tell you if the pricing is correct for your activity.

The staff made the stay.
